Antica Roma - Carta

Really fresh and delicious salad. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend the spinach and Gorgonzola pizza. Would go back.

Nice place. Pizza was nicely thin and crispy baked. Taste also good only the puffy olives should not be used (but make all pizzerias). Prices are fine for Garmisch.

After we were ignored at the Colloseo we decided to walk up to Antica Roma. We made a wise choice. They were very accomodating and their pizza, and tiramisu were delicious.

Every time we go to Garmisch we eat here. The food is excellent and with a window table you can look out over the pedestrian zone. The view is especially beautiful during winter time. The pizza crusts are thin and crispy, not soggy in the middle like other restaurants. Try it you will like it! Ver carta

A nice little place we found by accident while vacationing in the area. The wait staff and cooks are fantastic and extremely friendly. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is very relax. and dress is casual. You have your choice of language in which to order; English, German and of course Italian.

We just happened on this restaurant on a late Sunday evening walking through the pedestrian zone in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Everything we ordered, including the salad, minestrone, pizza, and pasta, rivaled anything we had ever eaten in Italy. The waiter/bartender was extremely friendly and accommodating to my family (we had two small children with us). Prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were good. Will come back here the next time we're in Garmisch.

Having had German the night before and knowing we were having German that night we decided to give another Italian place a try in downtown Garmisch. We had a table that over looked the pedestrian walking area of the downtown which was very nice. You could also see the mountains (non ski) around Garmisch. The waiter was pleasant, but the waitress we thought was rude. We tried a salad and calzone. If the calzone was any indication the pizza must be very good. The salad was nice and fresh also. We never got a chance to consider a dessert as once the waiter cleared the plates the waitress quickly brought the check without asking if we wanted coffee or dessert, we found this very rude and inconsi...
