We were staying at the hotel next door and as it was raining and blowing a gale it seemed logical to eat here. We caught the Earlybird menu and had a vere good meal at a great price. Good atmosphere and nice staff a hit.

A pitstop on a cold wet and windy December night! Travelodge A1northbound with my 87 year old dad. What a treasure to have uncovered courtesy of Olga on reception (look after her) fabulous menu, really beautifully executed and prepared as a takeaway so willingly. I had a glass of very nice wine whilst waiting, the quality of which was reassuring and worth every penny. Thank you Si Vintage Mischief

Tuesday .We were walk ins no booking. The restaurant had quite a few covers and only 2 staff. We were greeted and taken to a table, with apologies for the wait which to be fair was only minutes. Lovely atmosphere and table setting, menu was easy to navigate with ample choice ,as was the drinks menu. We just had main courses, which were fabulous, a pizza ,and a pasta dish. Pizza was one of the best I've had in a while, the pasta dish was tasty, and not overcooked, with a nice sauce. Drinks were served in a timely manner,and both staff members were polite. Yes I'm going back, the pricing, service and food were all great.

Have visited this place before , but bit disappointed on this occasion. It was an anniversary meal , but they had no salmon , asked if they could do spaghetti bolognase rather than tagliatelle, but they said they did not di spaghetti! Yet when my seafood pasta arrived it was Spaghetti based !!!! The lasagna was very dry , so my wife was a bit disappointed. Also we did not arrive till about 815pm and they actually closed at 9pm so if felt very rushed with meals being served quickly. It's a shame because we have had good meals and service here before , but having used another Italian in Seaham last night , that was 100% better and more reasonably priced, so think the , Sambuca Seaham gets our...
