"The name of the restaurant is actually Trattoria Antipasto Weingasse, and the name used by those who recommended it to us was The Weingasse. Also, they serve wonderful Italian food, not German as stated in the summary. I would like to start out with a heartfelt thank you to every person on the staff of Weingasse, from the boss to the bartender. Being from the US, we had a hard time with the German menu, and then toss in lots of Italian and names of fish that we were not familiar with, and you get a lot of page turning. The staff explained and guided us to wonderful choices of antipasto and pasta courses, and even created a special combination platter so we could try several things. They also gave wine preferences for consideration. As the manager said We are here for you and they really were. At the end they treated to a glass of Amaro, which was a new experience for us."

one of the best Italians I've ever been, great ambiente, very nice and attentive staff, a really extraordinary menu, great drink card and the quality of eating was excellent. my first, but certainly not the last visit!
