Augustiner an der Kraemerbruecke

we could not fight against big beer and food, even if we just come from Bavarians. beautiful location next to a flow side is certainly a plus.

we stopped here because it looked like a local favorite. the food was good, but the gin tonikum was tasteless, even after I had ordered a second shot. the service, eating and beer were good.

Came here with a party of 9, we were given great seating inside. The waitress understood our orders (English). I would definitely recommend the Augustiner beers and the beef goulash was amazing Ver carta

Overlooking the Kramerbruck we stopped here twice, once for a late lunch (OK food with fantastic service) and once for a drink and snack, again the service was great. Tastey bread arrived with the sausags salad and the lamb with vaked potato was also good.

really nice atmosphere, good beer, but really bad eating, no taste and not appetit. over, there is only one piece of material to wipe the tables with disinfectant, which divide the empty and which sometimes lands on the floor and is picked up and used directly to wipe the tables further.

The building is stunning outside and in with a big terrace and a balcony on each floor that overlooks the river. We sat on the first floor balcony and had a lovely view of merchants bridge. We chose this restaurant as it was just across the road from our hotel. There is a large outdoor seating area we didn't spot the indoor seating. It was a pleasant evening to sit and enjoy the river, the view of the Merchants' Bridge...and the food. Food and drink was good quality and typical for the region. A nice place to be on a summer evening.

We were finally able to find some Saurbraten here and it was yummy. We were with 4 other couples that the waiters made room for us. Our German was not too great so they found us some English menus and a waitress that spoke English....What great service. Some had salad or sausages. I had Chicken and potatoes. We all have a few of the fresh hot pretzels (make sure you ask for the sweet mustard

... I really liked this place and whilst it had lots of traditional Thuringer food it also had a good veggie choice for such a traditional place. I had wild garlic gnocchi with a lovely mushroom sauce and it was delicious. My friend had lamb...which also looked great. Lots of beer choices and such a beautiful setting even in the depths of winter so sitting outside in the summer will be stunning so close to the kramerbrucke. I will be going back for sure. Ver carta
