This was truly the worst Asian food I have ever tried in my life. It was very bland and tasted like gravel. I was extremely disappointed and regretted wasting my money. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Do not waste your money. The food taste like plastic and in a beef dish it was filled with tofu. It really is ridiculous how much they charge for their food. The place has gone downhill which is really sad as it used to be really really good. Please do not waste your money on this food because you will be heavily disappointed

I came here for half an oriental meal, I was not let down. it was served quickly and tastefully. we received recommendations from popular dresses that went well, the eating options are so big that we wanted a little anything. I love the Krug-Tom soup and the sweet fire chicken. the food costs did not break the bank and would definitely visit again! I hope they have found this useful

We have dined at Baba Wok several times, and while the food is delicious, we have been disappointed by the service and portion sizes. Our family meal tonight cost over £50, and we waited 2 hours for delivery. The spicy chips were a letdown, as they were mostly carrots and onions with only a few chips. Baba Wok needs to improve if they want to retain customers. £50 is a high price for takeout, and I would expect better quality if I were dining in a restaurant. We were extremely dissatisfied with our experience.

Firstly, the prices shown on the menu are incorrect (prices have gone up). Secondly, and more importantly, if you are looking for authentic chinese flavours then I’m afraid you will be very disappointed. Whilst there was a good amount of meat and vegetables the sauce was thin and without flavour. If I closed my eyes the taste was similar to that of the packets you get with instant dried noodles. The sauce, that should have brought the whole dish together, was actually off putting. So much so that I threw it away.

Absolutely livid with this place and with uber eats. Placed the order at 5.45. At 7.15 we are still waiting. Was not told it would take a long time because they are busy. Usually places will give you a heads up if it will be over an hour. App was telling me 6.45 at first which was long but just about live withable. This just takes it to next level. I have a daughter who needs to go to bed and this was her dinner too. Plus to add insult to injury the uber driver is making another delivery before mine. Will never order from here again. First and last time.

great service and great selection of food. the ambiente is beautiful and eating is fast. the staff is super friendly and warm! if they are looking for oriental cuisine in plymouth, this is the place to go. they have a lot of Thai, Asian and Fusion dishes along with mouthwater pages. the location is just a few minutes from the barbican. portions are quite bulky, offer a lot of value for money and it is always very filling. nasi goreng was my favourite dish because I love my spicy. I stumbled upon this restaurant around 11:30 as they were closing, but the chef was kind enough to make me some chicken soup, chicken noodles, and rice for takeaway. Even the vegetable and tofu noodles were delicious. My partner and I consider ourselves to be tough critics when it comes to Chinese food, but we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavors. We have been living in London for the past 10-15 years and can confidently say that this restaurant serves some outstanding food that is fresh and hygienic.
