we just tried the croissant, but it was really the best croissant I had here in frankfurt. I recommend it definitiw, the service is friendly.

The place is absolutely amazing. Their service is excellent and their food is amazing. If you have a sweet tooth it is definitely worth stopping by. Also their coffee has a great quality. If you sit outside you can watch the people walking down the...Berger Strasse. They also serve coffee and snacks to go.

Jeanette has the best croissants and French pastries in Frankfurt. We love to pop in and grab something on the run. The quality is what you would expect in Paris. The bistro is pleasant, however the service team is often hopelessly under staffed. Don't be...in a hurry! Even though they are swamped, the waitresses and waiters are always cheerful.

Today we decided to change something and go for a French bake in frankfurt. we were surprised with the good food quality positiw. we had a croque madame, an omelette campagne, fresh jus d’orange, fruit tea, vanille éclaire and a tart crumb and berries....Very delicious, but all a bit expensive. they can also stay outside and in a beautiful sunny day, as today it is amazing

Delighted to have found a relaxing restaurant, with good food, where I can chat with friends without having to shout. The bistro has mastered the art of offering enough room (also upstairs) without compromising on atmosphere. Food is excellent..can strongly recommend the goat's cheese and...spinach quiche. The patisserie counter also looks very tempting. Service very friendly. Long overdue for some French flair in Bornheim/Nordend.

I often stop there to buy a pastry or a baguette, it reminds me of my childhood in France! The bread is fantastic, the pastries are really good, try the different quiches, and their homemade mousse au chocolat is to die for and has the...real authentic egg and chocolate taste that mousse lovers look for!!! OK, the prices are not that cheap, but it's real good stuff, and if you don't exagerate, you can indulge once in a while in a real french croissant (OK, it contains the energy one adult need for a whole day, and you still get hungry hour after, but so what).

it seemed like such a nice place in the center of bornheim, but it turned out that it was quite disappointing because of the very bad service: not order right, a person get their breakfast away from the other, so that we don't even eat at the same time, then a mistake in the bill that would have been all in order if the waiter didn't snore. if he had apologised, it would have been mediocre. the touch with goat cheese and red pfeffer was not bad, but needed salt and pfeffer that I had to get from another table for myself. the caffe au lait was good. no butter with the baguette that tasted like a real French baguette. Maybe the key is to go if there are not so many other people or just buy the...

I'm so glad this place opened and appears to be doing well. I first went there in and often it was pretty empty. The croissants are among the best you will find in Frankfurt and compare well to the better croissants found in France....(Not all croissants in France are good The baguette is good, but you can find better in Frankfurt. I would prefer a slightly softer, lighter, crisp baguette as opposed to the denser artisanale type, but this is perhaps a question of personal taste. I doubt that the other breads can compete well with the famous German dark breads but have yet to try them. La Patronne Jeanne is friendly and industrious.
