"omg, with caroline quest and hannah nettleinghame for a nice dinner in 'the fig tree 36' and I think I found a little heaven! the location was idee, the setting intimate with the most amazing service, it was attentive, but not in her face. and if you know me, I am a sticker for good service. we ordered the 3 course set menu and it was not disappointed. in the did the pudding was so beautiful that I had no chance to make a picture before it was down or stealing! the appetizers were stuffed pork and asian fish cakes for which to die. the fish cakes were a taste explosion in my mouth. only enough for me to want more. the net of feta and aubagine tart, a beautiful steak burger (it looked huge in real life! with triple cooked chips and my carbonara two possibilities. the carbonara was right with a light smokey, creamy, sweetness. and the baked carbonara with its crispy coating has a nice task to compensate for the meal. as for pudding the amazing creamy of lemon and lime marscapone in a light crispy tocuit fall and dressed with the perfect meringue. sensational! if they haven't been there yet, I recommend to them to find it now."

"why go to portugal when you can go to the Lisbon Café in plymouth. what a fantastic selection of baked pastries and cakes baked on the ground and also good coffee. it's probably good that I don't live in plymouth as I'm here for breakfast every day. there are probably enough sorts to have another bake every day of the month."

"Stopped off on the way back from the beach. Love the food there fresh ingredients cooked with care served by warm and friendly staff. The double stacked club sandwich gets my recommend! Plenty of outside space out the back on the new decking area..."

"I’m on a mission to try every eatery in the market. This time it was Tea Bun. I’ve wanted to try here for ages and it was honestly amazing. The place was packed which is obviously a really good sign! We had: •Fried pork gyoza with spicy Mayo •Aubergine with sesame miso •Chicken katsu with special tonkatsu sauce bao bun •Fried prawns with spicy Mayo bao bun. Everything is cooked fresh to order and was so tasty. The gyozas were some of the best I’ve tried and the aubergine miso flavours were incredible. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!"
