"we are looking forward to our visit as there were so many good reviews, but unfortunately we cannot add them. our table was booked for 6 and we ordered the 2 hanging backs for £10. 1 was huh, and 1 was steak. Unfortunately, when the two showed up, that was still raw in the middle and the steak was cold with almost raw mushrooms and paprika. the staff was very apologetic and took away our meal times. when they came back, this time was boiled. correct, but unfortunately the chips were overkook3d and looked like they were taken from the end of the fries out of the previous day. also there was no sauce on the kebabs, who did not know that we should be told until we were told after our visit. the staff was extremely regrettable for our experience and knocked the price of the food of the entire bill. we were at home in 19 hours. I'm sorry to have no photos"

"This is a place I have wanted to visit for so long and I'm afraid to say it wasn't what I thought it would be. Met my wife for lunch here and I really fancied the all day breakfast. My wife had the cheesy chicken...burger. Our food came and upon first impression it looked good. 2 sausage, 2 egg, 2 bacon, 2 black pudding, 2 toast, beans and a tomato. The black pudding is so thinly sliced that together they are the thickness of an average slice of pudding. The eggs were one on top of the other and when I moved it, the egg underneath was so overcooked it may as well have been a hard boiled egg. They other was not far off and was not very soft. 2 dips of the sausage and that's the yolk gone. Makes me wonder if the chef hid the hard boiled egg on purpose. It was tasty, but disappointing. My wife's chicken burger was very tasty but very sloppy. With 2 pint of beer and a soft drink it was well priced at £22. The location is nice, looks good inside and out, and staff were friendly. Would I go back? I'm not sure to be honest."

"I had eaten twice in the wagon as a vegetarian, so I knew that they had a really extensive and tasty veggie menu, but I was still a bit nervous as a new vegan to go as I had both early times fresy dishes. It turns out that they have a complete and delicious vegan menu! There are 5 or 6 starters including a vegan soup of the day that was beautiful. They were so apologetic that they have no milk free spread for the bread I think they would normally. The moving Bergburger was really nice and the wedges he came with were beautiful. Right hand cut, posh looking wedges. I could not believe that there are four correct puddings and options of milk free cream or ice cream. I had hot chocolate fudge cakes with milk free ice cream and it was the most beautiful dessert I had ever been going vegan. My 2 table attendants are both carnivores and enjoyed their meals (not vegan), so it is a good place to go if you have a mixed group to please. All my foods came with a flag in it, making the kitchen clear efforts to call their vegan foods and handle it appropriately. I am also tee-total and found the soft drinks menu really extensive. In addition to the usual soft drinks, they have 0% beer, wine and apple wine. There was not allowed to be 5 stars because it is not completely vegan."

"The service at the restaurant was quite slow, even though there were not many people dining there, aside from a few from the spa. It took a while to be seated as a couple did not know how to book in advance. However, the young girl who took care of us was great. The food was excellent, but there were times when it seemed like there were too many staff members standing around doing nothing. There is definitely room for improvement, especially considering the high prices of the food. The reception area could use some enhancements."

"Visited this restaurant as part of a treat for a special little boys birthday....we went pictures afterwards....I'd booked ahead just in case (you never know what places are like with kids). From the moment we arrived till the moment we left the staff were superb. Attentive and polite and very helpful. The food was excellent. Great starters and the mains were delicious. They even made a special non peas or onion chicken fried rice dish for the birthday boy...Might not sound much but that attention to detail dosnt go unnoticed with us. The girls even gave him a little ice cream dish afterwards with a candle. He was made up. no delay in anything we orderded. 5 stars all the way...we will be back again...Hopefully soon thank you."
