"We had to send one dish back! Delicious food but had to deduct stars for the cutlery not being polished there were dishwasher marks left on all of them, and the special of the noodles was very sour. I must say to their credit they replaced the dish quickly and without fuss so I 've increased my rating to four stars. Our friend is used to Asian food and eats it on a regular basis and he said the noodles were definitely off. Other customers were questioning the flavour but the chef was saying that it was correct. We feel the flavour profile was not balanced. Maybe too much lime juice was added to the miso? The steaks and mixed grills however were perfect. The ribeye cut like a knife through butter. The meat was so tender. Even the grilled herb tomatoes were so ripe and delicious. The chips were near perfect crunchy crispy and fluffy on the inside. They soaked up the vinegar perfectly which cut through the oil of the chips. Altogether a marriage of barbecue flavours that go together perfectly. We had the local IPA and a cider which paired perfectly with the meals. The restaurant was busy with local regulars and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Every request we made was met with a courteous no problem reply. Service was impeccable. The desserts for those in our party who could manage them were also delicious. There was a Mars bar Cheesecake and a kinder bueno tart which was dense chocolate. Highly recommended if you still have room after your main course! (I didn 't!"

"I have been here before but not recently. First impressions today were not good. Our table was booked for 12:00 and the lady who unlocked the door disappeared into the kitchen and nobody else appeared for a few minutes. There were no menus either. Eventually a young girl came and gave us a menu and served us drinks. We ordered the steak and mushroom pie and it was absolutely delicious. All home cooked and piping hot. Good value at £6.95. This pub used to be very busy on a Sunday and it’s a shame that it isn’t the case now. It has recently been refurbished and is clean with a nice decor. The food is definitely 5 star if you don’t want anything fancy just home cooked tasty food. The staff are friendly too"

"The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. The Chicken Methi dish is excellent, with just the right amount of heat that enhances the flavor without overwhelming it. Delhi Nights understands that eating a curry should be enjoyable, not a challenge. Parking may be limited with a few spaces outside and potential parking on Storth Lane (away from the junction). The service is dine-in."

"We live near the cockle but hadn’t been for a long time decided to give it a go again and was very pleased with what we got! Exceptionally clean. Food was brilliant and the staff were efficient and very keen to please, knowledgable about dietary requirements . Would recommend giving it a go here you will not be disappointed"

"This review was meant to be about the fact that the fish and chips picture are completely Gluten Free... But. Thses Fish and Chips were just fantastic Fish and Chip... They tasted almost exactly the same as regular FnC. I say almost because in my view there were better than regular FnC. let me explain. All chips at this Chip Shop are gf. Peas are gf. Gravy is freshly made and gf The Fish is gf and in my view its lighter than regular battered fish and more crispy. Making it better... The man in charge was very help full and even invited me to observe the gf process. As a new Coeliac this was very informative. If u are in the Sutton In Ashfield and want Fish and Chips gf this is the place to go... THANKYOU."
