"We had Sunday roast last week. Meal was disappointing to say the least. I had tiny portion of pork belly which was tough. Cauliflower cheese barely had any cheese, mainly flour and milk. There was barely there vegetable consisting of a tiny carrots and two sprouts of broccoli. There was no crispness to the potatoes and were still hard. Overall pretty diabolical meal. My partner had roast chicken and did not fare any better. Maybe Blue Anchor is relying simply on the location and view of the river to pull in customers. I definitely won't be a repeat customer."

Brought my dad here for fathers day, Sunday lunch was delicious. Staff were lovely, especially Sully. Great friendly service. Will definitely come again.

Very characteristic place. Courteous service but high staff and a little slow to clear the tables of previous customers and it was a little dirty but it was a Saturday night.... Nice people who frequent it
