Blue Bistro - Carta

Table for two for a birthday meal. Food was excellent, selection of drinks excellent especially the Italian cider. Service very efficient, but only half full.

I get the Dolce Vita Chicken nearly every Sunday but today the asparagus was extremely stringy I couldn't cut it or eat it. The chicken, sauce and rice were very nice as usual.

The £20 steak fillet was cooked to perfection however i was still hungry when i left.. maybe more than 10 chips as a side would help fill a hungry person who was looking forward to coming here. Ver carta

it is a nice looking, comfortable bar bistro with great service and nice eating. it was there for lunch as we had never tried and found the personal friendly and fast. we are going back in a definitive way, maybe we're trying to eat dinner.

I happened to pass by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. The restaurant was clean and the prices were quite reasonable. I will definitely be returning with my family and friends. I was thoroughly impressed.

We tried this place following recommendation and travelled from Durham .. We had booked but we were a tad late due to traffic.. that wasn't a problem.. Beautiful setting..loved the colour scheme.. Sunday roast was beautiful.. I had the lamb and it was very tasty and there was plenty of it.. Very attentive and friendly staff.. Will definitely return Ver carta

We were treated by our nephew in Bar Blue after a recommendation on a beautiful meal. We were very impressed by the meal, drinks, setting, service and Bill. We were spoiled for choice, but for steak and ale cake, belly pork and sticky toffee powder for dessert, all delicious and good portion size, 5 drinks makes the bill £90! Great value. Just pulled to the northeast and wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday somewhere, bar blue bistro was recommended by a family member. Booked the day before, so glad I did when we arrived, it was very busy and turned people away, shown on our table and left to browse an amazing menu, loads of different choices. The service was brilliant, the atmosphere very relaxing, the food, absolutely fantastic! Prices very reasonable. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

I booked a day in advance, and I'm so glad I did because when we arrived, it was packed and they were turning people away. We were seated at our table and given menus with a wide variety of choices.
