Attentive, efficient and friendly service. Good food at reasonable prices, and a nice bottle of wine. Highly recommended.

Bad service, unfriendly staff ( quests are more for disturbing the staff than an income or pleasure for work) Pity they gave this advertisement for Bayonne.

Real in the center of Bayonne I've been there many many times. Good food with some influence of local and traditional food. Nice meat. Really good wine. Sometimes just a bit expensive but is not an average place. Ver carta

We sat outside this restaurant but we could see the kitchen from the pavement and it was clear that the interior had been tastefully refurbished. For main course my wife had cod and I had lamb sweetbreads. Both were good portions and very tasty.

The food was gourmet and amazing. I had fish, don't remember what type, however it was like butter. Perfectly seasoned. This was the best meal I've had in France or Spain for these past few weeks. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Needed somewhere for four children and three adults to eat. Most places in Bayonne full, but we were accommodated inside. Good service. Childrens meals excellent and very promptly served (just what the children needed!). Adults all had fantastic steak and frites - beautifully cooked steak. Ver carta

We are in Bayonne a bit out of season and this is one of the fullest of several restaurants along the Nive and for good reason. Very good not over elaborate food. Chipirons and a large serving of Bayonne ham shared as starters followed by Pintarde with Girolles for main. We saw fresh Girolles in the market. All really good

We were advised to visit this restaurant, and the food was quite ok. We wanted to sit outside as the weather was still nice. The smokers wanted to do the same and made the environment not good at all. The food was actually quite good, but I would have appreciated more contact with the waiter. When we had finished our glass of wine, she never came back to ask wheter we wanted another glass.

We had dinner at this restaurant in May 2017. We ordered pate to share and two separate fish dishes for plats (mains). The wait staff were pleasant but the food seemed to take forever to arrive. The pate was ok - nothing special. One of the fish dishes, bar, was nicely cooked but was drenched in olive oil which masked the flavour of the fish. The other dish, the 'special' - lotte - again was well cooked but had a large bone which needed to be wrestled from it. The accompanying carrot and cumin mash was good. The white wine the waiter recommended to have with the fish tasted like one of those bad mass-produced NZ sauvignon blancs - all violent, mouth-puckering acidity (as opposed to the good... Ver carta
