I visited this restaurant for lunch with my girlfriend. We had a hamburger and a schnitzel, both were good. We tried out a couple of beers, too. The restaurant has a great atmosphere but it really was packed! That said, the service was still very attentive and fast. I would recommend this restaurant.

Had the brewery trip first then in here for food. Beer very good and plenty of choices.There were 17 of us and we drank in here from 12-00 until 5-00. Spent a fortune and we did not get one smile from any of the staff.Dont let that put you off. The food was good and it gets packed as the day goes on. Well worth a visitTry the Brewery trip as well . We came at 4:30 and This place quickly filled up. Come early or book a table. We had to chase the waiters to get some service when it was at its busiest.I had the red wine and my husband tried the beer sampling. Both were good. We also shared the small snacks platter, which wasn't small at all. With the accompanying bread basket we were quite full afterwards.

after a sightseeing tour during a warm day a beautiful, quiet place to eat and drink on the afternoon looking and found in the inn of the "old girl" where you can escape the bustle and the noise of the city on weekdays and there were plenty of shaded seating. the service was flotted and on demand promising. have spontaneously tried the beer-tasting and ordered a stubborn one: strong white bread slices with bark-mett, mango-apel-cahutney, spring onions etc., all fresh and tasty. also the lunches (up to 16 o'clock) read well for a reasonable price. if I'm in hamburg again, I'd like to come back here.

This is a great location, you shouldnt miss on your Hamburg trip. Especially, if you like good beer. Forget about Holsten & Astra, this is a real beer from Hamburg! If the weather is fine - which means in Hamburg it doesnt rain - sit outside, grab a beer and a snack from the bar, and enjoy the atmosphere. Inside is very beautiful too, take a seat at the bar and put your beerglass on the cold lane. The service is very good and the people are friendly all over place. The food is good quality as well, but nothing special. It is not a cheap location, but you get a lot for your money. Order one of the beer tasting plates!
