"they have an additional room where they can sit a little quieter because it is relatiw loud. Unfortunately, the service here is less common and not on their faces. the food culture is missing in this restaurant in general. the tellers are with huge...gips, so it can happen that they are still waiting for her to eat and her neighbor is already finished with his meal because he has already begun before it gets cold. after that the dishes are cleaned while the others still eat. they could have doubled the sales with us. Too bad"

Great place for craft beers and good burgers and other food. Cozy and laidback restaurant with fireplace. Ideal to meet with friends and family. All bread is homemade.

a local brewery on the west side of hambourg. it is worth drinking there, but the menu and the verres are a bit expensive (50€ per person for a full diner.) better booking

We came here on he recommendation of a friend and were glad that we did! The chilli cheese fries were great! I had the Tasting Tray, but I only enjoyed 3 of the 5 beers. We would definitely go back though! Ver carta

The staff is not welcoming, feels like they are always pissed, it’s always good to put a smile on your faces Also we ordered wine and the waitress didn’t even suggest to open the bottle! Very bad service for such a place.

Came here on a Friday night with friends. It can get really packed. Advisable to make a table reservation. Restaurant ambience is good, nice to chill out. Had classic beef burger, vegetable burger and fish chip. Taste good, ordinary..nothing special. The only outstanding is...how they made their potato fries, that's really nice something different.

we came to them on a (very) busy Friday evening with a large group and the overwhelmed the capacity. beer, their heels in a brewery, began to reach a full 30 min after the arrival. zwick bier was beautiful, beet carpaccio was original, and...the net, steak was a kind of medium of the road. the choice of the beer is staged, but my suggestion is to choose a better time to make rehearsals Ver carta

last Monday we visited her place. great eating, cool drinks recommendations and amazing and very attentive service from our waiter, davide, thanks to which we had a really great evening in their restaurant we also worked in gastronomy and know that such a good...employer is the key to success and the management should know about it! thank you again and we will see you soon! best greet, karolina

The lady that rented us our Air BnB recommended this in the neighborhood and we were so glad she did. We had to have a hamburger in Hamburg and they delivered the goods. It is not just a burger joint though, as we also had...ribeye and pastrami at our table and they were also very well received. Yummy fries too. And as this is a good bar scene, must say that the pours on our drinks were generous. We liked it so much, we went back for a second time.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
