Ett typiskt slotts-upplägg men med eget bryggeri. God öl och OK mat. Servitören fick slita hårt då det var många gäster och han gjorde det bra. Ett trevligt ställe att besöka men inte för matens skull.

Met twee gezinnen (4 volwassenen, 4 kinderen) prima gegeten. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Snelle en vriendelijke bediening en de lokatie leent zich voor een mooie wandeling door de binnenstad.

Good location for Bavarian food and beer. You have to enter a portal to get to the restaurant. We loved the atmosphere. I had pork roast and it was done perfectly. Some other people inout party had other pork dishes and were also very happy. The portions are generous and the service good. The dark beer was popular at our table. Ver carta

Originally the Thurn-Und-Taxis Castle Brewery, this space has now been restored as a very confortable restaurant, in the typical Bavarian typical bauhaus indoor garden style. Despite being located in front of one of the major tourist attraction of the city, namely the Thurn-Und-Taxis castle itself, this place is no tourist bait though: here you can enjoy some great traditional food, sold at honest prices and served in a cozy space by friendly staff. Do no miss this one!

Abbiamo cenato qui l'ultima sera di un viaggio in bici lungo il fiume Altmuhl e Danubio, e il Tour operator ci aveva prenotato in questo Ristorante, una bella sorpresa. A due passi dal centro storico della bellissima Ratisbona, un antica Residenza con Parco ed alberi centenari, con angolini molto romantici. La proprietaria parlava anche italiano, cosa rara da queste parti, il cameriere invece era un po' distratto e frettoloso.Si mangiano benissimo i soliti piatti Bavaresi, innaffiati dall'ottima Birra che ha lo stesso marchio del Ristorante, prezzi modici.

We were a bit wary about the only restaurant in the St. Emmeram complex (potentially touurist fare and prices), but we there was no need to worry. Brauhaus Am Schloss keeps the original Brauhaus tradition high. Simple appointments, spacious sit-down, efficient service, beer brewed in house (St. Emmeram beer, good in one guess) and large portions of well prepared meat dishes with potatoes, or sauerkraut or salad. And of course reasonable prices. Brauhaus Am Schloss is exactly what you can expect of a restaurant in a brewery.
