Buffalo Grill - Carta

Standard Buffalo grill, good for a quick meal after a long day's drive. Wouldn't go there for a special occasion but always reliable with well trained staff.

We ate here while we stayed at the Ace Hotel next door. We chose a set menu and was very pleasantly suprised at the quality and value of this meal. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Good value for money with friendly waiters. We went on Saturday early afternoon when it was busy but still had speedy service. Nice to walk around the lake which is located nearby after the meal. Ver carta

Had burgers and fries with a carafe of rose. Salad is served with all orders so enjoyed that before the great burgers. Knocked off ome star due to being seated literally next to two other people with only partial divider. Service was adaquate. Food good!

Joes Steak was very very fatty gristly and inedible mostly bone seeing as this was a new dish to the menu they should think again!! When mentioning this the waitress said it was not her fault it was the kitchen 19 euro for bone and cold veg just not worth a visit,. Joe ordered desert still hungry, just been told desert was free no apology just admission of guilt

This was our first visit to a Buffalo Grill so we did not know what to expect. We were given a complimentary salad on sitting down, brought warm fresh bead and supplied with chilled water prior to ordering. There was a good range of food to order including meat and fish. There was a good range of drinks including aperitifs. We enjoyed the meal it was value for money and we ended up visiting a second one later in the week. Ver carta

Stayed at the Ace hotel and decided to dine here. The food was good as expected but the whole dining experience ruined by a waitress who barely spoke to us. There were a few grunts when we attempted to ask about menu items. I attempted to ask for salt as she passed the table but she just stared and walked past. The bottle of wine was banged down on the table as were the dinner plates and I had to grab two glasses from another table after waiting approx 5/6 mins. This young lady just did not want to be there. She also had a slight aroma of stale sweat. Bad experience

After reading other reviews of this restaurant it seemed a good choice to eat as it was very close to the Ace hotel where were staying overnight in Issoire.When we arrived at 8.00 there was a long queue waiting for a table, a good sign possibly. Luckily the wait was short as was the time to deliver our order. Unluckily our food was poor. My wife's chicken was dry and my rack of ribs was barely warm. After reheating they were barely hot enough to eat. All very disappointing.Although the staff were attentive we couldn't believe the French clientele would queue for such a poor dining experience.

We had a very short walk to this Buffalo Grill from our 'overnighter' hotel so decided to give it a go. The place was packed but we were greeted warmly and seated and served surprisingly promptly. The seating was comfortable and though the table was very small, it was big enough for the two of us. Our waitress was 'flat out like a lizard drinking' with such a crowd but she took the time to make sure that we understood the menu deals completely. We went for a menu which gave us a steak meal, a dessert and a drink. All were perfectly acceptable. The steak was surprisingly tasty, the salad was fresh and the chips were hot and crisp. We got exactly what we wanted from Buffalo Grill - a decent me... Ver carta
