Cafe de la Gare Chez Marie-Claude

We arrived at around 2:30, we were very welcome and we were able to eat despite the end of the hour. lateral restoration we took the menu of the day that was very good, with an excellent value price. the restaurant takes the restaurant map.

we have eaten here in a series of places and have never been disappointed. the menu du jour is excellent and delicious. the price of the weine was certainly not expensive and our opinion is that the experience of eating in the cafe de la...Gare should not be missed

my sister and I ate there 17/07/2021. we didn't ask to see the weeping list as I asked. pitcher of red wine. we had two half liters, and when the bill came, they paid 22 euro. this was. our first night of vacation and to find that anywhere else 6-7 euro for a half liter we never returned!

April 19 A delicious meal, fresh produce, well cooked and all the charm you would want in a traditional French bistro. The owners/staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the menu de jour, mine warm goats cheese salad, grilled lamb with wild rice and...vegetables then creme brûlée. Three course Meal for two with a pitcher of wine and coffee less than 40 Euro, Visited again in Sept 19 delicious sardines in cheese sauce starter quirky presentation in the tin;, grilled steak entrecôte; husband enjoyed liver and onions. It’s going to be a regular for us!

The first course salad with anchovies was delicious. I added a small amount of red wine vinegar the waiter brought to the table. The vinegar made the salad and sardines taste crisp and light. The sardines were some of the best I have ever had...that were not fresh from the ocean. The main dish was cold roasted beef with julienned zucchini and squash. The roast beef was accompanied with a sour raspberry puree instead of horseradish. Much better decision. The red table wine was tasty. It was a hot day and the decision to offer cold roast beef was to be commented.

we visited 2019 and again twice in september and October 2022. the place has gone from force to force. the two ladies who lead the place work incredibly hard and do not keep during the service, the kitchen is open so that they can see the...Koch hard on the work. the service runs in exactly the right tempo and can get quite a lot to do so, so the booking of a table is definitely recommended. the day menu is more fantastic worth with three curses for €18, each cursor lovingly prepared. I would highly recommend this wonderful little restaurant. the food is cooked with love, care and attention.

There are new owners here and we really wanted to like the place. It was friendly but rather like amateur hour without the expertise. There is a very limited selection and it is not expensive but I ordered my steak rare and it arrived and...I initially thought that it had not been cooked at all. I sent it back and it came back slightly warm on one side and absolutely blue at best. If you can't cook a steak properly then you should not be cooking. It was appalling. There is no wine list apart from wine by the jug/glass and when I asked if there was any sauces available with my steak I was met with an incredulous look as if I was mad. we visited this place some time back and we really did not cost our food. So we beat it for a long time after. but, friends began to tell us that it was not too bad and we should go another, so we have. This little bistro has recently changed hands: a couple of weeks ago I passed by to see it full to the brim which was very good to see as the previous incarnation was tired and not great at all. So yesterday I went for a...lunch, a simple menu of 5 or so starters, mains and puds. I wanted to like it very much but to be blunt, the food was pretty awful. Tomato and Mozzarella was old cheese, icy tomatoes and watery salad that had mixed with the vinaigrette. The main course of Pork in mustard sauce, a classic of cooking.
