Booked for a big group for a stag meal out (23 hungry fellas). Mazz, Hannah and the chef were awesome. Food was absolutely blinding great value too. Stayed on for some ciders too. Can not rate highly enough.

I visited this restaurant with some friends while on vacation. In total, we went three times. The food was excellent, and they were very accommodating to my gluten-free friends. The atmosphere was lovely and laid-back, and the staff were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

this pub was such a great sound! we are down in woolacombe for the waking and always enjoy good pub dubbing, and captain jacks far exceeded are hopes. we all enjoyed are sandwiches of the fish finger sand, the flips out and the staff was beautiful and very welcoming. all together a great visit, I can't wait to come back! one of the best restaurants I have ever been in the kitchen is to die and the staff is very friendly. we go to jacks every time we are in wollacombe, that is about 3/4 times in the year sometimes we eat there twice during our stay, which in the regular awkward so very popular by scott and maz thanks youngs xx you see soon xx

We highly recommend Captain Jack's! We started at the bar and then moved down to the restaurant, where we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. This hidden gem in the heart of Woolacombe surpasses even critically acclaimed restaurants we've visited. The food is consistently fantastic, thanks to the talented chef. They even welcome dogs, making it a great spot for dog walkers. The staff is very friendly, so be sure to give it a try!

This place was perfect for the whole family. My partner and I are the only vegans and sometimes find it difficult to find a place that catered for a family meal, but Captain Jack's served meat and large vegan choices all wonderfully left everyone satisfied. The chef would personally come and tell us what we could have or what he could make for us, even offering to make us a whole new vegan dessert from scratch. He clearly took great pride in his cooking and would come and check on all customers to make sure they were happy.
