Amazing food served up by brilliant staff, so friendly and so attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant which is also spacious and comfortable.

Food terrible, ask for a certain wine, got another, waited and waited for drinks and toilets unhealthy and should be shut down…. Wires hanging out of walls, water and pads on floor!!! Stay away!!!!!!!

We went for Sunday lunch and waited a good 5 minutes before someone took our drink orders, even though there were 3 staff members doing nothing. We both ordered the beef and it was delicious, but the service was a bit slow.

Not impressed, to be honest. There was very little atmosphere to the place. Food was mediocre. Limp salad covered in peppercorn sauce. A chipped enamel mug holding the chips. Steak was ok. Drinks pricey. Sorry,but I won't be back. Not my cup of tea. Ver carta

The service at this restaurant was excellent during my business event. The food was served at the highest standard and was top-notch. Alex, Ross, and Hope were exceptional in their roles and efficiently met all our requirements with professionalism. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be booking again in the future!

During our visit to see family in the area, we dined at Carter Fitch three times for dinner and drinks. The food was exceptional, particularly the delicious cheese board which paired perfectly with a bottle of wine. The handmade pizza was also fantastic. They offer a good variety of wines as well. The staff were all very friendly, with special thanks to Matthew who provided great service on our visits. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant.

Good food, slight mistake with one of the meals but that was rectified efficiently and without fuss, so no lost marks for that. My main issue was the lack of service. We had a table booked, but were actively ignored for 5 or 6 minutes by 4 of the team working the floor, fair enough bar man was busy, but couple of them nattering. Sat for ages after finishing the meal with dirty plates on the table, so I had to clear them myself, get my own menu and order dessert at the bar, i don't mind doing this and if that is the preferred method then fine, but tell people they need to be ordering at the bar. I travel this route monthly and it's a real shame because the hotel next door id decent, but this... Ver carta
