Dear Cau and the food service was not as good as possible, but no problem really.

Was pleasantly surprised on how lovely the food was : very nice, definitely will be recommending

Fabulous dishes and cocktails in a vibrant and interesting place. Unbelievable steaks and burgers. The pineapples and Sage Margarita are also highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the experience to celebrate my Birthday. Food good bit steep on price but ran out of coleslaw for a side dish. Would book again but for special occasions

really delicious meat! I had the lomita that is a special filet cut was really huge. the pfeffer sauce was also delicious. good choice of poor and friendly service. really good evening

We had a nice waiter who was replaced by a waiter who seemed really fed with his job. Alsp cutlery was with black dust or something. Other than that, I would come back definate because food was great

We went for our wedding anniversary, having tried most steak restaurants in Bristol we were excited to try Cau. Took a while to sort a table even though we had booked, there was an event on at the university so it was pretty busy. However we were served reasonably quickly and got our starters, £5 for 3 tiny croquettes was steep although they were delicious. However after our starters were cleared away we then waited 40 minutes with no sign of our main course. After chasing this it transpired something had gone wrong and were given a free drink and told us it would be 10 minutes, the good eventually arrived 20 minutes later. Had a nice meal good food and service however the waiter gave us the wrong bill and by chance I checked it before leaving. I called the waiter over and explained the situation he apologised and said he would need to speak to the manager. When he came back the difference in the bills was just under £5, he then proceeded to get £5 out of his pocket to give me. I asked him if he had to pay me out of his own wages which he confirmed, I told him i didn't want it and not to worry about it. The waiter made a genuine mistake and apologised, I make mistakes in my job and so do most people. I will not be visiting this restaurant again as I feel the whole evening was spoilt and made me feel uncomfortab...

I have been here on quite a few occasions and the food is always delicious and cooked well and the service is great. I usually go for a steak and sides. Having seen the roast dinners being served on my previous visits I decided to try the beef roast on this occasion. Both my mother and I were disappointed with what was served, I am certain that the Sunday roast menu must have changed recently. Firstly, I would like to say that the beef was cooked perfectly and was really tasty, there just wasn't much of it. The roast potatoes were also delicious.
