To begin with, this restaurant is welcoming to dogs, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is just right. You must try the falafels and the scones.

Whenever we come to the lake district, I always make sure we have at least one trip here, I don't care how far I have to drive. The food is spectacular. We had the four salad sharer, fantastic fresh beautiful food.

Been visiting Chesters by the River for many years and is always a must when we are down in the Lakes. Just had coffee and a scone which were delious!! They were a good size and with the jam and cream, the best we have had!! Ver carta

We had our first visit to Chester’s yesterday! We loved it! Beautiful shop with lovely items for the home or gifts for loved ones, and amazing food! We tried a curried chickpea and sweet potato pastie....Absolutely delicious We stumbled across the shop whilst out on a walk, we’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant is a fantastic discovery! I've only been here for a week, but I can't wait to come back. The salads and wood-fired pizzas are amazing. I also took some scones to go, and they were absolutely delicious! The shop is lovely, and taking a walk along the river to Langdale was a great experience.

We visited Chester's for the first time and were not disappointed. I ordered the poached eggs and my wife had the vegetarian kedgeree, both of which were delicious. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was lovely, making for a great dining experience. We definitely plan on returning when we are in the area again. Ver carta
