"We visited the restaurant at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon feeling hungry. My partner ordered ham, egg, and chips, while I opted for a cheese sandwich with coleslaw and salad, as well as a side of chips. We also each had a coffee, bringing the total bill to £20.45. The coffees arrived first in large mugs, which was a nice touch. My sandwich was served on soft white bread with cheese and onion, accompanied by delicious homemade coleslaw and a simple side salad. Unfortunately, my partner's meal was disappointing, with thin slices of cheap ham and overcooked, unappetizing eggs. After he pointed out the issue with one of the eggs, it was simply refried and served back to him. By the time my chips arrived, they were well-cooked and tasty. Overall, my partner found his meal to be a rip-off at £7.90 and we were both left disappointed. We do not plan on returning and would advise against ordering the ham, egg, and chips dish."

"An absolute rip off for one of the worst fish and chips I've ever tasted. Certainly the worst on the east Yorkshire coast. The large haddock was a joke. Call it a large?!! It was slightly bigger than the two small fish I purchased. Complete daylight robbery. All of our fish was overcooked, dry with horrible batter. Chips were ok but very greasy, curry sauce flavourless. To top it off given one of them terrible nasty wooden forks that are a pain to eat with. Additionally there's no kids menu so my five year old understandably could only stomach not even half of the swamp of a small adult portion. What planet is this shop on? Disgraceful"

"We called in the captain Williams for a drink. There was a wide choice of beers lager and cider, including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when we called visited. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's a large comfortable bar with excellent sea views. There is outside seating and a small car park."

"Placed order 1hour 50 min,s later freezing cold, phoned alfenos, rude unhelpful a total disgrace and liar,s Contacted just eat basically fill you full off **** won't refund or say they have but we're who knows. I will be removing the app from my phone no loss as for alfenos I will be avoiding the 3 star rating takeaway and going to the 5 star rating takeaway from now on."
