had a booking to breakfast on Saturday morning. the greeting found a little frosty, but perhaps something else was before when we arrived, as the staff became much warmer and friendly while we were there. the breakfast we ordered was...available

Good. Very good. The pork three ways had a bbq sauce blathered on all the meat would have been better imho to be in a sauce boat for those not mad about bbq sauce. Personally I prefer the Lamb Restaurant, better atmosphere and warmer...staff. We paid for two of us. Enjoy Stratford

Friendly and helpful welcome and beautiful room. Lovely breakfast. Loved the contemporary decor, mixed with traditional and quirky. Really enjoyed our stay. The only very slight criticism- it would take half an hour to weed and tidy the outside and the first impressions would be...a good as the rest.

Dropped in for lunch just off the cuff while on our journey home from Derbyshire. What a lucky find for strangers in town. We chose of the set menu and had excellent courses for an unbelievable Not only was the food first class...but the service was equally matched, efficent and convivial. Thankyou The Townhouse.

Cannot commend the staff highly enough, we were greeted like friends, albeit professionally and received faultless service . The food was super as were the surroundings.. will most definitely pay a return visit. Thank you to the team that served and catered for us today,...we all really enjoyed a super lunch including Oscar the year old and his dip dip please keep up the good work

well, as soon as we got off the moment we were gone. from service to eating and ambiente everything was perfect for a special night that was celebrated with my partner. I have a few dietary requirements so enameled before to have the embarrassing moment of "what. can I have," that the general manager went over expectations by making me food that is safe for me on my visit to facilitate the choice. we were greeted by a friendly worker who opened the door and showed us on our table, and to round it off, two glasses fizz put on the table to celebrate us. Eating was delicious, well presented and good value. we will definitely return and recommend others. Thanks again.

a table for four originally booked and talked to the team and that was changed to six, arrived and the table was set for us in the library, so we also had a table for drinks, we were there close to six hours and it was. like five minutes. have always enjoyed the townhouse, but it has a few years ago a blip, but now it is again to its best, the front side of the house were amazing, how was the waiter served the food, great banter with it from all. the eating was amazing, I had the skalopps for beginners and then the psychic with sunshade to finish the meal, other people in the party enjoyed their food and all the tellers were clear. Yes, the townhouse is back, can't wait for our next visit.

The service was extremely rushed. We wanted drinks first. Then bread. Then starters. Main and dessert with breaks in between. Our booking was The order was taken and our bread n starters arrived together very quickly and before the bottle of wine had arrived....Our main course was ready and we hadn't finished our bread and he had to clear the plates to put the main down. It was when the main was given. Unbelievable. I couldn't eat mine as too rushed so asked him to package it up to take home. Then my husband had Eton mess as a pudding.
