Best Steak I ever had! Ask the staff about the meat and where it comes from! They even present you raw versions and show you what you get! Nice presentation!

excellent eating in a cozy atmosphere, just a bit loud (the restaurant was packed). meat was rarely ordered but was served medium. beautiful baked potato and veg.

gram filet mignon, baked in truffle oil and with fresh truffle on top... Amazing taste! Also the place itself is really nice and the staff is very good. We will return here.

Best steakhouse in Essen. Hard to find, but superior service. We loved the truffled superior prime cut fillet wirh truffle sauce and vegetables. If you are a meat lover, choose Cowboystyle Steakhouse.

service was ok, but not dreaming like top level meat, but filet at € is too much everywhere bill of euro for filet, deserts and beers quality not in conversation, but I guess I won't try again with these...figures Ver carta

delicious lobster cream soup as an appetizer. very hot as it should be! chateaubriand steak (divided) was just perfect. also very tasty supplements. and especially the dijon. a decent wine card was also fed with so fine. all in all. no restaurant for every week, but...because of a month they can treat themselves.

The evening there was awesome! The personal is very kind, before we ordered our food (not for vegetarians the waiter showed the meat we can order. The duration was okay, but we were not alone! The whole menu (dinner inclusive) tasted really good, the price...is good for what we got! For those who are new to Kettwig it could be a bit difficult to find it but that shouldn't be the problem. All in all I would go there again!

This is hard to find, tucked away beside the river, but well worth searching out. But no good for vegetarians! They do an amazing array of steaks, and the great thing is that you can order different sizes, so if you don't have a big...appetite you order a small steak and there's no waste. Food was cooked just as I like it, and was good quality. There's a good choice of wines. The service was a bit slow; we waited mins for dessert, but I still give it because the food was so good.
