Ordered the carbonara, and it tasted fine. Was a little too salty, and I like food with a lot of salt. We received attention from the chef before we ordered anything, which tasted good. I went on whim because my friends were eating somewhere else. I was originally skeptical of just how good this place was based on the reviews. It was actually one of my favourite dining experiences. Everyone was so lovely and the food was thr best I've had in a long time. I ordered the classic carbonara and the semifrozen pistachio mousse, with prosecco. It was all better that what I can make at home and my husband is a trained chef from the Le Cordon Bleu.

A hearty portion of pretty good carbonara. Slightly undercooked pasta, slightly oversalted, but I was both full and satisfied. As a starter we got a fried cheese ball with pesto. It tasted great, but we had to pay for it, even though we had never ordered it. Somewhat rude in my opinion. The waiter seemed to have a bit too much to handle, but still managed to smile, which I appreciate. Nice people, a bit strange local. All in all, a good and safe choice in this jungle of tourist traps.
