Dox - Carta

We had a wonderful evening at Dox. Food and service were excellent. Above all, we liked interior after the reconstruction very well. We are happy to come back!!!

I ordinarily would not eat at a hotel restaurant but I was tired and did not want to go out. The meal was excellent and service was perfect. I started with asparagus soup--a German favorite this time of year. Then, a perfectly prepared Dover sole. The wine selection (and advice) was very good.

We were only at the bar on top to enjoy the view. Unfortunately the seating is very limited but sitting on the stairs was fine as well. Service however is only if you are really at a table. The self-service is friendly with good drink selection, good tempered stuff and a great view over the water and architecture. Ver carta

My husband and I find the restaurant irrelevant for all occasions, whether with mate, acquaintance or relationship. I think the whole local staff did a very good job there. From our point of view, a detour is recommended here. As far as I am concerned, my friend and I have already ordered the entire menu above and below. The meal was very ground.

Great restaurant inside the Hyatt, where food was faultless but service just terrible given the prices: no one greeting us at reception, no attention to the table: it took a long time to get the menus, then to order, then to get additional water/wine...and I...guess for this type of restaurant I wouldn’t expect it to be an effort to get attention.

A wonderful restaurant in a new design. There are nice small separate seating areas either overlooking the canal or the open show kitchen. The highlight is, of course, the sensational food offer, in particular the Tatar, the mussels and the steaks, which are perfectly grilled. Fantastic location and ambiance, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The chefs recommendations were the winning dishes of the evening and I was rather envious of my friends who picked these. I elected for the sushi starter which was rather average, followed by the Chateaubriand which was very pleasant. A great wine list saved the day as well as some killer cocktails before and after the dinner. Overall, well worth a visit.

Food: Overall the food was good. The goat's brain was cold, probably would have tasted warm. But there is no full point deduction for this. Service: The service was inadequate. It wasn't so busy on Sunday that 8 walking waiters couldn't have tried for 5 guests. I had three different waiters at my table, who were all smiling nicely, but didn't bring me what I had asked. I asked for an espresso. After three questions, I got a coffee. The second cup I had ordered at the end was not brought to me. 2 The food was served over the table, although there was room enough to bring the food around the table. Entré para una cena espontánea el sábado por la noche durante la temporada de ferias comerciales. Encontré esta joya buscando los mejores lugares para comer cerca en TripAdvisor y nuevamente, no salió mal. Nos dieron una mesa preciosa con vistas al puerto, y felizmente un poco lejos de ... la parte más ruidosa del restaurante donde muchas mesas grandes se estaban divirtiendo. Pedimos algunas bebidas y cena después de un largo día y apreciamos el buen servicio y el personal servicial. Me encantó el menú: muchas opciones, incluidas muy buenas opciones de sushi y cocina continental.
