"We absolutely adore this restaurant. We have been coming here for 15 years and it never disappoints. The service is amazing, the food is top notch, and the atmosphere is perfect. We typically order takeout for dinner and the price ranges from £40-50 per person. Highly recommend this place!"

"Dined here this evening hoping it would be good as we had read some excellent reviews on TA. Ordered garlic and cheese focaccia (actually was more like garlic and barely bread) asked for it to be crispy, ended up cremated, but actually unlike me didn’t make a fuss as it was the eve of my birthday so just ate the edges. My partner seemed to enjoy his fish stew. I opted for the chicken, mushroom and nduja risotto. I asked the waitress what it was and she said it was like salami, what she neglected to tell me was that it was packed with chilli and nearly blew my shirt off. Needless to say I couldn’t eat it as I hate anything spicy. The owner asked what was wrong and he came out with the spice paste and I explained what she told me, but it completely went over his head. It would have been nice if they would have offered a complimentary coffee which we paid for or the ice cream I ordered to cool my mouth down, but he didn’t. He also was pushing for people to order their deserts as he wanted to close early as he had to pay staff for more than needed. No sweetener at all, not surprised the restaurant was quiet."

"By Seonaid, who warmly welcomed us to our table, the ambiance of a Grade 1 listed building set the scene for a perfect Sunday lunch, and it certainly lived up to expectations! Every dish was stunning and of the highest quality. We enjoyed both the lamb and pork, and both were absolutely delicious! They even served pigs in blankets! The service was first-class, and with a view over the front gardens, this place is a must-visit. Thank you, Old Hall; we will definitely be back!"

"We ordered two pizzas for takeaway it was my first visit. The pizzas were incredible. Italian style and delicious despite one of them having a Gluten free base. The restaurant looked small and intimate but had a lovely relaxed atmosphere when I walked in. I'll definitely visit again. Next time I'll eat in. Dietary restrictions: I ordered a Gluten free pizza base as I have coeliac disease. I wasn't disappointed. The best gluten free pizza I've had for a long time. Thank you."

"Were to start my friend booked us a table for a friend's night out no children or men we were told it was for 6pm and we had to be done for 8pm which we were fine withon the way in the management/owner? Repeatedly told us the same be out by 8 ok so we ordered and were told if we wont a banquet we would have to have 2 meals at a time off the list ok then it was all brought out together so we were finished at 7.15 with all the meals finished i asked for a dessert menu and was told i could only have coffee as there was no chef to do me a banana fritter what i found baffling as there was one there to fry me my prawns the top and bottom of it was that they gave us a table they needed and didnt wont us to stay but were quit willing to take our money when i question this was told in not poilighty terms if you dont like you dont come back i think this lady is the most rude inoperative restaurant manager i have ever experienced and the one thing she was right about is i would not be coming back"
