Enjoyed another wedding anniversary meal ! at Emelios excellent food and service with a smile. Reasonable prices for Bawtry . Looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend.

Cozy surroundings, family run business. Freshly cooked proper pizzas and homemade pasta. Good gluten free options on mains. I had the chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce with garlic and herb potatoes and fresh vegetables with a side of butter.

Went here for the first time this week. Excellent staff and tasty food. Portions were big and lots of variety in the special dishes. House wine wasn't that great and tiramisu was a little disappointing but mains and starters general atmosphere and attentiveness if staff made up for it!

The staff at the restaurant were extremely attentive and the food was delicious. However, it was disappointing to find out that half of the dessert options were not available because the kitchen had closed. It would have been helpful to be informed of the kitchen's closing time, especially on a Friday night, upon arrival.

It has been more than 30 years since my last visit to this restaurant, which was always pleasant back then. When we arrived and were seated, we were served quickly despite the restaurant being empty from 6:30 to 9 when we left. The specials were written on a piece of scrap paper, lacking detail. Overall, the experience was not great - the prices were cheap but the food was not authentic, the mains were disappointing, the desserts were small, and the drinks were expensive. My wife and I went to this restaurant with friends on Saturday evening. The starters were generally good, although I found the Minestrone soup to be a bit too salty and lacking vermicelli. However, our friends enjoyed their Garlic mushrooms and Melanzane Parmigiana. The drinks were also enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was an issue with one main course. The Lasagne that was ordered came out as multiple layers of pasta sheets rolled like a Swiss roll, topped with Bolognese sauce and mozzarella cheese, and grilled, which is not the traditional way to make Lasagne. So where do I start.. Visited tonight 23/9/23 at first the place was very welcoming we were shown to our table upstairs, sat down, and our drinks order was taken. This is where it started to go down hill. Drinks arrived and orders taken. My inaugural visit to Emilio's left a lasting impression, albeit not entirely favorable. On a Friday evening, accompanied by friends, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival and promptly escorted to our designated table. The menu was reasonably priced and exhibited a commendable quality relative to their cost, with ample portion sizes to satisfy our appetites. Visited with a mix of family and friends recently for a special occasion, were served fairly quick and food didn 't take long to appear. Food was amazing and all thoroughly enjoyed. However, service definitely could do with improving. Spoons were brought out after ordering for those having pasta dishes and knives taken away one of our party had lasagna and said she would prefer to keep her knife. She was asked again for her to hand her knife over and had to repeat herself a couple of times to say she would like to keep it.
