Family friday night out. Great food, friendly service. Best meal I've had locally recently. Will definitely be back soon.

Eating was excellent. place was cold. indescribable water/ manager schwaren in the group, telling them to F..OFF, this was not discovered until two separate children told their parents home.

They kindly facilitated a leaving party for a work colleague. Really helpful, friendly staff and fabulous freshly made cocktails. Awesome cheese board and you need to try the trifle shots, trust me on this ! Ver carta

The Christmas menu at this restaurant offers incredible food at a great price. The slow-roasted pork belly was absolutely delicious. I ended up eating too much because I couldn't resist trying all of the desserts, but it was definitely worth it.

Had three courses here on Sunday with my wife and our little mad dog. Everything was delicious, highlights were the lobster bisque with mussels and scallops, and the venison roast. Really nice chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake also! Great job everyone, we’ll be back.

We absolutely love this pub. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by for some delicious chips - you won't find better anywhere else. We're willing to drive 42 miles just to enjoy a plate of their chips. We went on a Sunday at last minute for a late lunch. The pub is a great building but a tad cold if you sit away from the cosy snug around the real fire (2 old boys had settled in for the afternoon when we...were there My wife ordered Sunday lunch, I had rib of beef mine was fantastic, but I was still jealous of wife as her’s looked brilliant too. Plates were hot and food piping hot which so many places get wrong. Service was a bit slow but maybe only noticeable because of the cold. Glad we went, will definitely return

The 5 Bells is a new pub to me, even though I have lived ten miles away since 1985. I'm not sure why, but I have driven past it countless times without going in. About two months ago, I finally went in for supper and to be honest, I thought it was great. Needless to say, I have been back several times since then. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I have no complaints, except for the fact that I wish I had discovered this place sooner. Well done to the 5 Bells team, you have a very happy customer.

Came with a couple of friends for a sunday lunch. First impressions were the cosy pub with low ceilings and old flint walls. Great atmosphere the staff clearly get in well and it shows in the attitude of the locals propping up the bar....Really pleased to see that the Sunday menu has non-roast options although the roasts looked fantastic. Two of our party were vegetarian and had an incredibly good lasagne not a made last week and reheated' lasagne a made-to-order chef's take on a mushroom lasagne. Delicious. Turns out ALL food is made on site home baked bread, onions rings, chips the lot, and it showed in the quality of the food. Very impressed as this wasn't previously advertised and isn't... Ver carta
