"With around 1100 seats, it is probably the largest restaurant in the Bavarian capital. The Ratskeller is located in the basement of the Munich City Hall, right at Marienplatz. I was anomalous during an event that ordered food and table at a certain time in advance. Therefore, I have not taken a look at the map and cannot give any information about waiting times. The food was ready shortly after the event. But I can judge the quality very well and this is overwhelmingly good. For a place of this order of magnitude it is more likely to expect the quality of the mass goods, but it is brought to the point of the boiled meat with red cabbage that tastes red cabbage and potato dumps from real potatoes. At least they do not taste industrially manufactured chemicals. Despite the many seats, it is comparatively quiet. Entertainment with table neighbours are also possible without screaming. This is also because the guests are distributed over 15 halls. Since today I have a new and rightly recommendable favorite in Munich:"
