"This is not a gastronomical restaurant. They are specialized in Bavarian / Austrian fare. As such very convincing. In an old building, most probably an ancient hunting lodge. With a tented terrace. Parking space limited. Service efficient and courteous. Asparagus salad well made and presented. Mixed boiled beef outstanding. Broth tasteful and not oversalted, the various beef slices correctly cut and prepared, variety wide and quantity stunning. Plenty of creamed spinach. Only downfall: the apple horseraddish much too mild. Better ask for freshly grated horseraddish. The beef dish is 1-2 classes better than in 'The' famous Austrian restaurants like Plachutta (Vienna/Wien), the King of Tafelspitz, or Schloss Aigen (Salzburg). In this class 4.75 points, as a restaurant in absolute terms 3.75 - my sincere compliments."

Very good restaurant, nice food, very succesfull. Due to that success too noisy in the WE, nervous personnel. We would prefer it calmer.

We went there in four, three adults and a kid. Amazing cuisine, sincerely, I dreamt about a duck like that for years. Also desserts and beers were astonishing.

Excellent representation of Austrian food. Great service and comfortable atmosphere. The wine list was particularly impressive - almost all of it was a wide selection of Austrian wines. Ver carta

Alltime favourite! Quick and very friendly staff; traditional dishes that greatly reflect the bavarian/austrian kitchen; great austrian wines; lovely "Biergarten"! Reservation recommended.

This is a jewel of a restaurant, with exceptional attention to every aspect of the menu, from minor culinary details such as the gourmet bread and the house wine to the main courses such as the succulent veal. The clientele befits the city's most exclusive residential area, while the spacious terrace ambience gives the feeling one is sitting in the middle of a forest, with mature overhanging trees looking out on to the English garden.

Wanted something a little more traditional than the Hoffbrau haus. Found this place on the internet. In business over 150 years and used to be a brewery. Food was outstanding! We had the schnitzel with spargle and beef tips with pasta. Both were some of the best meals we had in Germany. Our waiter Gert spoke excellent English and took the time to translate the menu for us and answered all of our questions. The place was pretty busy on a Thursday night so call ahead for reservations. The Freisinger Hof is a cozy hotel/restaurant in Oberfoehring, known for its greats steaks, schnitzel, and outdoor seating area (weather contingent). The waiters are all friendly and very helpful. Don't know which of the many wines to order? No problem, they will walk you through the questions leading you to a good choice with your food and taste buds. The indoor area is compartmentalised and creates a nice area of cozy corners with 3-4 tables each. Perfect for some privacy when the restaurant isn't full, or perfect for meeting a group of likeminded people if one should so desire.

This restaurant has it all...delicious food...stellar service...cozy atmosphere..all 4 seasons! We recently were there and sat in the garden on a beautiful evening. Reservations are a must. Normally you will see small scale corporate groups bringing their guests to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. Markus took special care that everything was promptly prepared and delivered with a big smile. If you love tafelspitz or ente..this is your place!!! Thank you to the kitchen staff, waitpeople, helpers behind the scenes....your group efforts are appreciated and we will see you soon. Hopefully we can get a reservation after this review! Thanks, Kristin (& Christian G).
