For example, a small portion of veggie ravioli was $16.95 and could have fit on a side plate. The risotto with poached fish was also a small dish. Additionally, we felt rushed as it was only 10pm on a Saturday night and it seemed like they wanted us to leave. It wasn't very welcoming and did not have the usual Italian hospitality that is typically seen at Italian restaurants."

Bar Frizzante served us rather nicely. The welcome was full of warmth, and dishes were all rather good, so we were left full of much required food

I thought that was a good eating experience. it was one of those places where they would not leave disappointed, but would not go back. I think there are probably better Italian restaurants in edinburgh.

Visited on spur of the moment, read the menu looked through the window and the place looked full but they squeezed us in, service was prompt,staff were lovely atmosphere was just right and the food was superb. 100% recommended can’t wait to go again.

The owners accommodated us without a booking on a busy night, we had an excellent pizza followed by tiramisu and washed down with some lager. The staff were all very busy, but made sure we were happy and enjoyed our meal. Good old fashioned hospitality

a fabulous Italian food near the city center. crostini frizzante starter is for dying. fresh, perfectly balanced, delicious. spaghetti mare is excellent, and we are never disappointed by the dessert specialties in the offer. always high quality and always different.

We had high expectations when we visited this restaurant, but we left feeling disappointed. The bruschetta was soggy and the pasta dishes were not as flavorful or as hot as we had hoped. The prices seemed a bit high considering the quality of the food. However, the service from the wait staff was pleasant.

delicious, fresh and fast. my partner and I dine here weekly for lunch and it is always delicious, fresh and fast. my partner loves the pepperoni pizza and my favorite is the rigatoni raggazzi, and the second favorite is the mushroom pizza. the lunch menu in £5.95 is well worth it. the personal is friendly and excellent.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The prawns in garlic were delicious, the veal was top-notch, and the homemade cannoli was fantastic. The staff provided excellent service and it was a treat to have genuine Italians serving us. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in Edinburgh again. Five stars for the food and service - you won't be disappointed!

excellent food and friendly service. four of us visited last night and had an unforgettable eating in a pleasant environment in bar frizzante. crostini vegetali and a selection of antipasti achieved very than starter. the most important courses were vitello pasquale and pollo jalapeno tasty. the younger diners rated the pizzas as among the best they ever had (and they had a few).
