Lovely food, great ambiance, friendly staff and amazing prices. The venison ragout was delicious and the bock beer and home made Eggnog hot coffee tasted of more. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here three times during a two weeks stay in Lenggries. That rather says it all. They do have an English menu but it is not the same as the German. Go for the German version.

We stay in Lenggries whenever we visit Octoberfest. Always dine at this great restaurant. Great authentic German food. Service is good, sometimes a bit slow as it is very busy. Overall always a great experience. A must dining stop in Lenggries.

we stayed today in lenggries for a walk and visit, and it was very nice cuz it was a sunny day and after we eat an apple pie with vanilla and keiserschmarn, was very tasty and the prices are fair and the personal. very friendly. can only be recommended

the guest rooms are very appealing. so we made it cozy there. although little was going on, it took a while until someone took the card. they were all cold, not very good. that after the complaint is still weakly addressed, then the hammer. the 2nd star there is only because the locality was very beautiful. We have been coming to Lenggries for many years and always make a point of eating here on several occasions, and have never been disappointed. The waiting staff recognise us on each visit and are always very friendly. The quality of food has always been...first class and the portions substantial!! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good meal at a reasonable price.

Staying in Lenggries for couple of days as base for our activities…. We did try couple of local restaurants, they are all have almost the same menu. At this place, we have order beef and mixed grill. Coming from NY, stake was a bit on...a tough side, but peppercorn sauce was really good. My mix grill was excellent, definitely recommended. Probably the best part of the meal was warm apple strudel with caramel sauce, perhaps someone should try to order meal in reverse Apple strudel, mix grill and salad.

restaurant reviews! the lenggrieser altwirt has been an existing gastronomic farm since 1469, with its connected gastronomic house for those who make it no longer to beer and hot. for the celebration there are three pretty urige stubs: isarwinkler stub 'n bis 40 people , flößerstube 60 p. or in the karwendelstüberl bis 30 p. . if they are not reserved, regular restaurant operation, as well as outside under the shaded trees. every Thursday is the Bavarian Spanish tapas day and Friday is purely Spanish day! with original dressing of the spain connected host family. on the other days is usually Bavarian: e.g. tweebel fried 180 g from the bark end with bratkartoffeln and hosthaussalat at 19,50 €...
