A fishmonger in Vieste recommended this restaurant to us because I have gestational diabetes and therefore I was looking for a suitable restaurant. We first called to ask for information and book. The two of us ordered an octopus appetizer, troccoli with seafood, grilled vegetables, grilled fish, a coffee, a bitter, a water and two glasses of rosé, we spent around 80 euros. I have had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant on two occasions, both for lunch and dinner. The dishes offered are truly excellent, and this was the main reason for my return. However, I have to make a negative note regarding the service. On both visits, I noticed that there were quite a few waiters present, but they still seemed to fall short of handling table service adequately. The first time we came, several of them were smoking and playing games (perhaps too immature to work on customer contact) they seemed unaware of our presence, which affected the overall atmosphere of the experience.

After a first dinner we wanted to go back because really quality price is unmatched in Vieste. In addition to offering a nice variety of dishes that can satisfy all types of travellers, the à la carte cuisine is certainly the reason to return. The raw fish are very fresh and accompanied by sauces and mustard, the mouth-watering sauté as well as the really enjoyable stuffed mussels. We wanted to taste the orecchiette here because it is clear that the chef knows his stuff even on the traditional one as well as other excellent fish first courses such as the gnocchetti with crab. By chance I found myself eating at the restaurant, nothing to say about the food and the location but when I presented the bill I kindly asked for an explanation on a course and precisely on the octopus with broad bean cream since the receipt cost 17.50 I was introduced to a girl who didn't know how to answer and told me she was calling the manager after which this person came justifying himself that it wasn't the owner who wasn't present at that moment. The fact remains that an octopus tentacle of which I have photos of the plate and the receipt I paid 17.50 legalized theft then x not to mention the episode seen with my own eyes some bagged bread collected from the ground served some bad lu...
