Staff were wonderful. Rooms had everything you needed. Little coffee machine, plenty of teas. Nice size room and bathroom. We walked into Haslemere village. Was an ideal stay for going to Petworth, Midhurst and Farnham. Food drinks: Had a meal the first night we stayed, which was very good Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Great value

Warm, friendly, lively, ideal! Mel Teri served at a 50th special surprise party and completely made the evening for us all. : Great company, perfect service (they even helped film the big surprise , excellent cocktail mixing and fantastic sense of humour. Won’t be going back. My son and I visited today for lunch and order starters and steaks: Sirloin and “prime ribeye” both completely over cooked. Hate sending food back so I kept mine but sent my son’s back. Another steak came completely over cooked again. At £34 you expect it to be cooked at least close to requested. Sadly the service let us down again, it was mentioned that they were short staffed due to sickness, but the staff that were there looked scruffy and were borderline rude. I appreciate they were stretched, but for the price I expect a lot more and a better contingency for staff shortages. Food was average and practically thrown at us. I haven’t been for some time as I was disappointed previously but thought I would give them another chance. Sadly I won’t bother again.

Fantastic place to stay with great food and drink and helpful, friendly staff. Plenty of parking as well! Excellent trip. Rooms: Lovely clean rooms with plenty of space. Comfortable beds with feather and down pillows. Soundproof isn’t the word! There was a 50th birthday party one night and we were NOT disturbed by this at all despite it being the other side of the wall very impressive! Food drinks: Absolutely delicious food and good sized portions for the price. We also had a few cocktails during our stay and they were beautifully made and there was no skimping on the alcohol! I hired the function room at Harpers in Haslemere for my partner’s surprise 50th birthday party. The team were FANTASTIC! Nothing was too much trouble. Michael was very helpful with the planning. Sam looked after me SO well when I arrived to set up. He was so attentive and helpful. Mel and Teri were amazing looking after us all during the evening. I have to say thank you to the whole team involved that night for making it such a good party. But Mel deserves a HUGE thank you, she was AMAZING!
