Nathan was great. Food was excellent came exactly as it was shown on the menu all round excellent experience.

One of the nicest harvester we have been in. Great service, amazing food and very clean. Good work by all who worked this afternoon. I think Lewis was our server, he was extremely good.

Salad bar is good. Didn't have many menu items. They told me I'd have to have one thing then brought something else randomly. At least they gave me a refund after I asked for it. Poor experience. Ver carta

The food at Harvester was decent, as expected. However, the service could have been improved. The restaurant was very quiet, but the staff seemed preoccupied chatting at the bar, causing delays in receiving their attention.

Came to Newport after randomly driving out from home and was greeted by some amazing staff. The ordering was fast, food came out faster and the quality was high. Ordered the limited edition Raspberry Chipotle Rotisserie Chicken.Your server Lewis deserves a payrise for his ability to work efficiently and with a smile on his face.

From experience, always book. If you book, then this place is great for a pre or post cinema meal with family and friends. The staff are great and the food is high quality. If you don't book... then.. well, you may get turned away more likely than not. Even when it appears empty because this place has a wave coming after a cinema viewing or just before. Be warned! I have the roast chicken and ribs with sides. The chicken was dry and chewy. The ribs were ok but tasted like supermarket box ribs Food came relatively quickly. The salad bar was well picked over with other bit of food mixed in. Same serving spoon used for different items. Really quite a mess. Bread rolls baskets were empty and not being refilled. I feel like the big restaurant chains don’t try for maximum quality like the smaller pub restaurants.

When we visited a Bank Holiday Monday evening) my wife's choice was not available. The alternative offered turned out not to be available either. Then the third choice was available, but the standard baked potato accompaniment was not, so chips were offered and accepted. Then the meal was delivered with rice, not chips! To be fair, when my wife expressed her dissatisfaction, we were not charged for her meal or our drinks but it was an unfortunate introduction to that particular restaurant.

My first impression of this restaurant was positive, as it appeared to be a nice place with friendly staff. However, during my visit I noticed that there were a lot of young children who were not very well-behaved, which disrupted the calm atmosphere I was hoping for. The food was enjoyable, although the presentation could have been better. The burger had more sauce on the plate than on the burger itself, and the chips were slightly overcooked but still edible. The apple pie I ordered was soggy and lacked apples, although the custard was tasty. For a chain like Harvester, I would expect better quality control. Overall, the meal was tasty but visually disappointing. Ver carta
