"Andrew also clearly explained the ordering process and mentioned that we could use the app if we were uncomfortable ordering at the bar, which was very accommodating. He checked on us two or three times during our meal, remaining polite and friendly throughout. Once we ordered our food, we took a moment to appreciate our surroundings. The restaurant had a clean and comfortable atmosphere, with beautifully decorated tables and dust-free artwork adorning the walls. It was evident that the owner takes great pride in the establishment, and that pride extends to the kitchen as well. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, which reinforced our expectations of freshness and quality from the moment we entered. The fish and chips were absolutely incredible – the best we've had in a long time. The fish was perfectly crispy, the batter was evenly cooked and flavorful, and the fish was wonderfully flaky. The chips were also great, although the double portion looked almost identical to the single portion since we planned to share it; we found that the servings were more similar than we expected. Overall, we enjoyed excellent service and high-quality food throughout our meal, leaving us satisfied even into the following morning. I've already recommended this place to my family and friends, and I plan to make it a regular stop. Thank you, Andrew, and the entire team – Andrew deserves a raise!"

Called in for lunch with my sister. Not been in before. We had a fish finger sandwich with chips. Didn't have to wait very long for the food to come. It was very enjoyable. Staff were pleasant.

THE.BEST.PUB in the Stoke on Trent. Will not find service better elsewhere. The food is amazing, the staff are amazing, especially Connor who works there. One of the reasons why we keep coming back keep up the good work guys

Our family truly enjoys this place! The menu offers authentic English dishes, and they serve dry beer. The atmosphere is friendly, and a huge plus is the children's playground both inside and outside. It's a safe environment, and the staff clearly love their jobs—despite being busy, they always take a moment to assist us. Thank you!

Staff were very helpful and courteous and the manager on the day I visited was ever present and attentive. The pub was clean (no sticky tables). Food was okay average pub grub. The prices on the menu seemed ridiculously expensive at first glance, but the meals were two for one so ended up being very reasonably priced with this offer.

Extremely disappointed, went for father's Day. All the prices are now £16 for the cheapest plate (three sausages and some mash), £21 for a carvery, £21 for a steak..I know it's 2 4 1 so really you're taking £8 £10 a plate....and then...look at the plates you get, terrible. Chips are hard and Luke warm, as are the peas, steak was burnt (asked for medium), Drinks Expensive! £2.75 for a J30, £3.15 for a diet coke, I asked the bar person about prices going up, the answer...yeah....cost of living. Never been before so thought we would give it a go. Ordered half chicken Sunday roast.didnt get any mash with it that was extra good start. Well it came out and it was as if it had all been microwaved the extra side of mash I would say was instant.hardly any veg and two roast potatoes.the chicken was as dry as a pig's ear.we asked for extra gravy to try make it edible which I nearly managed it but her indoors she just couldn't.we asked for a partial refund but we told that they don't do that but we could have a free drink or pudding we opted for a pudding and in fairness they were good. Food was kinda ok but it 's just the little things that make the big difference. Why is the cucumber a sorry excuse of a slither ...just cut it normally. If it 's in a packet...get a cucumber from the Aldi opposite for 40p. Why is the side portion of onion rings on a plate that is meant to be worth £17.45 half the side of the other one. If it 's not great out of the packet, don 't use it. Why is the 'salad ' on a £14.55 burger plate a tiny bit of lettuce. No mixed grills or fish and chips available. Service was good and staff were nice and I know it 's 2-4-1 so you get what you pay for rule....but the little things to push up the plate a little will make the difference on what otherwise coul...
