We came to the restaurant at 8:45 p.m. It's funny to have a table at which we literally starved, as we were obviously forgotten, while the employees cheerfully chatted behind the counter and polished glasses. We left the innate place and enjoyed the rest of the evening in a nearby restaurant.

"on Thursday we visited again the restaurant to the römer in bad dürkheim. we had done some good food again. the Roman was an excellent address for me. they are known for tasty, good eating. so also there. but from the first impression - the courtesy and friendliness - where did they stay? the dining room and outdoor area (tables and chairs) was not much visited. a small number of guests. in the room I've been inquired, let's sit outside. short and short, yes, what do you have in the offer. is standing outside on the screen. again short and short. we had starving, was lunchtime. after filling out the guest list (covid 19,) we stayed the menu. the offer was as always good. we decided for zander. as a drink, coffee and water medium. the zander was delicious. around well, as always. zander auf hirsebett, cuts and the cream sauce- delicious! the weather has played, sitting in the outside area, was pleasant. that, as always, good food, has made me feel a little more reconcilable. but unfortunately the friendliness, has the covid fallen for sacrifice? the restaurant is also suitable for disabled people. but toilets will look hot. a staircase must be managed in the cellar spaces. with wheelchair difficult. toilets are perfectly clean. even a wrap table for the smallest gast,is available. only a pity, the friendliness - even in these particulars it is possible. "Wir sind an einem Freitagabend rein zufällig in der Dorfschänke gelandet, weil die uns empfohlenen beiden anderen Restaurants im alten Stadtteil Seebach bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt waren. Und wir sind froh, bei Herrn Maurer und seiner Ehefrau gelandet zu sein. Hier kocht die Chefin, bedient und metzgert der Chef. Er bereitet nicht nur Fleisch und Wurst selbst vor sondern überrascht auch mit handgemachter Pasta.Ehrliche Handarbeit in der Vorbereitung der Speisen, klasse Umsetzung und launige Bedienung lassen den Abend kurzweilig vergehen. Das Essen wäre einfach grandios. Die Mischung der Karte ist vorzüglich umgesetzt. Wir hatten den Antipastiteller mit einer großartig abgestimmte Vinegrete. Das Cordon Bleu verdiente ebenso nur Bestnoten wie der pfälzische Teller, von dem ich auch noch genießen konnte, weil meine Frau nicht alles schaffte. Gute Weinauswahl - vor allem stimmt hier auch das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Egal wo man in Bad Dürkheim nächtigt, der Weg hinaus lohnt sich. Klar muss man - wenn es voller ist - Wartezeiten hinnehmen, weil die Chefin ganz allein in der Küche steht. Aber wenn ich essen gehe bringe ich Zeit mit und schaue nicht auf die Minute. Für uns mit das Beste, was wir seit langem außerhalb genossen haben. Und wir gehen gerne sehr gut essen! Danke an die beiden Inhaber!"
