Absolutely great stay. Always a friendly welcoming. Traditional old pub with lovely rooms, very clean and fresh. Lots of local ales on tap and the food is great, freshly cooked and most locally sourced.

The food looked excellent on its way out to the tables. Unfortunately, we have not tried it yet. Beer and the wine hit the spot. Parking: Good sized car park at the rear. Lovely place to eat, great food good prices. The staff were lovely. We had scampi and chips, chicken with season vegetables would definitely recommend. So pleased we found this pub! The service was friendly and welcoming, the garden is well kept and shady in places BUT the food was absolutely delicious!! I really wanted to have a salad but didn't fancy the 2 on the menu as don't eat meat, on request I had a salad with falafel and it was to die for, that dressing of nettles, ginger and lime was so good. My plate was pilled high with a large selection of Very fresh veg and I enjoyed every bite.
