Best restaurant in Bowness. Food is incredible, great selection. Everyone will find something they fancy. We’ve been 4 times, and got the same steak stuffed with cheese main, it’s delicious. Wife has had the best dessert she’s ever had. If you see the caramac and toffee cheesecake on the specials board, do yourself a favour. Excellent service, good value for money. If you’re in Bowness, eat here. Food: 5

By far the best restaurant in the area. We visited back in July, so this is a little late posting. I had the soup of the day and beef bourginion, my boyfriend had rack of ribs and slow roast lamb. The food was superb and the staff were truly amazing. Fantastic value and such a lovely, calm atmosphere. I can’t fault a single element of our time at Jackson’s. We’ll be definitely going back! And have already recommended friends and family to visit on their trips in the near future. If I could award more than 5 stars I would! Best find ever.
