we had both nicely cooked fish and chips. service excellent. good value menus. informal, cuddly atmosphere.

eating was not impressed. eating was terrible, but the service was amazing. I wouldn't return for the tasteless food.

Wow it was really great. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Manager and service staff are very friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely go back on my next visit to London!

Disappointing. Popped in for a famous lrish beer. The beer was tainted, told the bar staff, not interested. I thought they would have least changed the pump or switched it off. Had to do with a p load of lager.

Quite the most unappealing “meal” I have had in decades although Brakes Brothers benefitted I am sure. My guests fish finger sandwich was just laughable. I thought Jamie’s reputation was in line with Davy’s it’s isn’t. Ver carta

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday party at Jamies and I couldn't have chosen a better venue! From the cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere of this stylish historical pub, to the excellent food and service of Jono and his team. A unique experience. It won't be the last event I organise at Jamies! Thank you for making the night so special!

The street level bar was booked for a private party so as a diner we went downstairs. We were not welcomed and no seating had been reserved so we sat next to the ladies toilet as it was the only place not full of drinkers. The food was average but not over priced. A pub with plenty going on and if we hadn't gone to the bar and stood in a bustling queue to order we would never have Got served. A disappointing element to our break in London but if they are milking it in from drinkers why go to the trouble of serving meals?

This used to the Witness Box, a pub frequented by us almost 30 years ago, and ideally located for a reunion. Outstandingly nice and welcoming staff, good facilities in a kind of alcove table near the bar, and a wide choice of food and drinks. One quibble: no cask ale, but not so crucial they had good Amstel. Thought it would be a problem booking food in advance but all went well enough and it did enable the food to be served relatively quickly once we were all assembled. One or two were not overly impressed with the menu, for example a burger failed to please, but as an event it was the right choice of venue and frankly I would use it again. I did think it was a bit procey but Central London... Ver carta
