"When we travel, my wife and I love to stay in apartments or apartment hotels, particularly so in cities like Paris with so much good food readily available. We were on our way to a supermarket when we saw this storefront. I walked in and decided immediately that we would pick up some salads and other items for a simple dinner back in our apartment. I suspect that I will be returning several times before we depart Paris; what we sampled was delightful, and we only scratched the surface. A number of pâtés were available, of which we tried one that was duck based, and then a pâté de campagne. Both were delightful, and we hope to sample a few more of their pâtés before we leave. We had the celery root salad, which I am particularly fond of in general, and also their carrot salad. Both were very good, as good as the versions I make at home. We got some fried potatoes; we didn’t reheat them since our kitchen facilities were a bit limited, and although the flavor was good, the texture was a bit off, and they would have been better warm. We also ordered a full rotisserie chicken. It was nicely seasoned, delightfully moist, and provided a second dinner, making it an excellent value. I have already been back for a potato salad dressed with oil and vinegar, a green bean salad, more of the excellent carrot salad, and a cucumber salad. All of them were at the very least good, and some were quite delicious. The staff person was very pleasant, and put up with my French without raising any eyebrows or rolling her eyes. We communicated quite nicely and efficiently. There were also duck confit options, and there were additional chickens on the rotisserie that would have been available later in the evening. The shop also carries a limited assortment of cheeses. On my second visit I noted some hot items that were available, and most likely simple microwaving would give you a hot meal should you want one. Whether you are looking for items for an eat-in dinner or lunch, or something that you can eat while walking, I suspect you can find something delicious here. I love it when I find places like this, and am happy to make you aware of them."

this fabulous place is now with the renovations of rue buci. Previously he had the best Brat chicken and beside dishes, but now the location is a mouthful pizza place.

I loved this load and visited them on almost every trip to paris in the last few years. I was inflamed to see that the gentrification of rue de buci in a tourist zone and caused them to close.

next to sandwiches, quiche and other almost food items, this has a fantastic lunch special. for less than , they can have a roasted chicken and two sides. they can easily put it into a second...Meal the quality of the pate and other specialities, as different salate is excellent. small selection of cheese and wine.

All well prepared and copious. You can easily stretch it into a second meal. The quality of the pate, and other specialty items, such as different salads is excellent. Small selection of cheese and wine.
