"the court enjoys in idystein the call of a Nobel hotel. I get in the rule in another, something inexpensive hotel in idstein, but since it was already occupied, I decided to the court this year. the call of a Nobel hotel already manifests itself on the parking lot of the hotel: when I arrived from 16 hired pkws ten of a Bavarian premium brand. with my seat alhambra I was almost foolish. where the price for a single room incl. breakfast with approx. 115th eur still moves in the area of the acceptable. the court also a restaurant. Unfortunately I couldn't test this during my stay, because for us as a group there was already a dinner reserved in another restaurant. so I can only give some impressions from the hotel itself and from the breakfast. perhaps also for one or more of interest. the hotel and restaurant is located at the rande of the very beautiful and worth seeing old town of idstein. from the old town they have to run some meters uphill, as the building is slightly elevated. it is a very visually imposing and already 400 years old professional building, more precisely a four-winged building complex that surrounds a charming courtyard. also in the restaurant dominate thick wood beams and massive stone, all up to detail very appealing. it's all weird everywhere. also the restaurant is not a large rectangular room, but a room with corners, angles and niches. to celebrate, the court also offers further space. the breakfast is not offered as a buffet, but now the absolute exception is brought to the table in German hotels. only the rolls and croissants as well as some can coffee stand on a small table in the middle of the room for self-service. whether this is due to the small square in the restaurant or to the claim of the höhrhof on exclusiveity, is deprived of my knowledge, possibly a combination of both. on the breakfast table itself there is already a bottle of water and a small carafe organic juice as well as a short information (in German and English, which is offered for breakfast). also the table is visually appealing. immediately after entering the restaurant, they see an operation ready to assign a place and ask for its desire – coffee or tee, and whether an egg is desired (from touch to mirror to omelet everything is possible. after only a short waiting period, a three-storey stage is placed from the service to the table. on the lower plate are three self-made jams and a honey dressed in four glass balls. the ‘different cheeses’ announced in the published information were taken up as two slices of hard cheese (mugs and a slice of soft cheese at medium level). on the top floor there were some sorts of sausage – a little sausage and a slice of ham, salami and smoked meat. the amount was enough for me. probably one could have coped with demand. I found the very small selection. if the breakfast is in a low-fat shape, the selection in the usually is far larger. Not only is a larger selection of cheese and sausage varieties offered in the rule, i.e. like musli, pie fish, nut nougat cream or other fruit juices have been completely missed. I also missed the “green” components. only two thin shrubs gurke next to the sausage, and obst was completely missing. I couldn't find an obscure (can you stand around somewhere and I just had to ask. as a passionate teetrinker I ordered a greentee to the breakfast. this came in a teekanne, which allows in wise wise the pulling of the tees – which can be placed on a side, then the tee bag is in the water and can pull. Once the teekanne is placed, the tee bag no longer protrudes into the water. but also here a big one: I had ordered a green tee. in this case I also expect a “clean” green tea. what came was a green tea with mango and lemon perfumed. instead of timing, several tablets were available. when switching on, several left appear in different days and weekly timelines immediately. to house I don't want to miss my time with paper printing in the breakfast table and would never sit with a tablet. in a hotel, however, I find this a great idea – on the one hand for reasons of space, as a tablet needs much less space than an unfolded time, on the other hand it has accessed several times. Conclusion: unfortunately I can only judge the breakfast, but I felt it was rather disappointing. it is very pleasant, its breakfast not even at the low fat, but at the table, but in this case it is too much to the cost of choice. at least the hotel could have a larger choice, for example more than just modest two species, and ask the guest before serving for his wish. very negatiw I feel that almost complete lack of sweet (such as gurken, tomaten, paprika and obst (e.g. apples, banane . the ambientee des hotels and the restaurant is however ingenious, for example for a romantic dinner as created. I can't say anything about the quality of the restaurant. only the note that the court is considered a gourmet kitchen and is in the higher price class, with the menu being quite manageable."
