"On December 17th, our family made a reservation online to dine at this restaurant before an 8pm show at the nearby Normansfield Theatre. We received a confirmation number for our reservation, with a note specifying that one of our party was vegan. However, when we arrived, despite the lights being on, the restaurant was empty and there was a sign on the door that read "we are closed." It is possible that this closure was due to an emergency, and we hope that everything is okay with the owners. Unfortunately, we did not receive any notification of the closure and had to walk around to find another restaurant that could accommodate us without a reservation and in time for the show."

this place was formerly amazing with philip and marie. Today our food lasted 50 minutes to serve, the surfing tower was so dry,Salad died! and the wrong side served with it. the children's castle was overcooked, dry and not even with cheese! the pestina burger had nothing medium! the whole experience was very poor.

Regular attender of the La Cloche’s Monday French cineclub. A glass of wine, starter, French film, a small main meal and dessert all under £20. A great combination of a British local pub and a quality French restaurant at very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. Also great atmosphere for sporting events especially rugby.

I booked a table online for Saturday evening with my family and received a confirmation email. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we found it closed. I was confused as to how I was able to make a booking at a place that wasn't even open. I was not planning on leaving a review until I received an email asking for my feedback on my experience.
