"Restaurant is located in Allaman ! Large space for big groups ! Several rooms ! Restaurant is famous for meat and salmon ! Diner with friends ! We had an appetizer proposed by the restaurant than we all have empanadas with meat and chorizo! Then meat with homemade fries and some desserts ! Food is excellent ! Service friendly ! They also proposed take-away for specific plates."

"Beautiful location, wonderful setting on the terrace with stunning views of the lake. Small aperitif with champagne and strawberry-passion fruit champagne cocktail. The latter was very well prepared with the subtle side of strawberry and passion fruit without being too sweet, a great success. Their salad with their legendary and incomparable sauce is always just as magical, we can 't get enough of it. Second starters with fresh goat 's cheese quenelle and tastings of perch fillets, absolutely nothing to complain about, simply delicious, well done and thank you. A little disappointment when we received the entrecôte (stale on the bone for 21 days) and the beef fillet, which clearly lacked cooking. Both were blue even though we had asked for rare, it 's ok, it can happen but when we asked the waiter to cook them a little more we would have appreciated the simple humility in admitting the mistake rather than try to justify it by citing the size of the pieces of meat which in no way excuses the cooking which is supposed to be mastered by a professional. The second cooking was more satisfying and it must also be said that the pieces of meat were of high quality. 2nd little problem: the fries. Having come to Le Vieux Navire several times in the past, I was also delighted with the matchstick fries which were by far THE best I had tasted, I was disappointed with the fries which seemed industrial or even frozen. When talking to the waiter, first response: they are matchstick fries. We told him no, obviously not and he ended up admitting that they had finished the matchstick fries and had to replace them with others. We would have liked to be notified when ordering and not at the end of the meal. Back home, looking at the photos from the last 2 years on Google it seems that they haven 't been making matchstick fries for a long time. They may have been artisanal but hard to believe and also slightly lacked cooking (personal taste). Once again we would have preferred honesty and transparency from the start. For dessert, unfortunately we were not able to have it on site, due to lack of time, so we had to take it away. The chocolate truffle was really good. The chocolate cake... WOAW! It exceeded all our expectations. We think you should enter it in a competition, because it is by far the best chocolate cake we have ever eaten. On all levels, incredible taste and absolutely perfect textures. Everything you expect from a chocolate cake worthy of the name. We had a very nice evening despite these 2 little hiccups and thank you for that. We look forward to coming and trying the experience again, even if only for the famous salad and the incredible softness. THANKS !"

"This was upgraded by other reviewers, so maybe I had high expectations... It was super crowded with packed tables outside the day I was there. This caused mixing and a 40-minute waiting time. My proposal is that if you want to experience this place best, don't even think about going there when it's crowded."

"Superb “Hunting” evening with friends. We took the deer saddle for everyone. That was delicious ! Perfect cooking and all the accompaniments homemade. Two services with different accompaniments. The setting is very beautiful and the atmosphere very friendly. It was personally my 5-6th hunt of the season, but by far the best! Choice of regional wine at very reasonable prices. We had an excellent evening. Well done to the Kitchen and Service. We will come back and recommend this restaurant."

"do not hesitate to press the door of le gallion as they are rewarded with a warm welcome and very good Portuguese eating. the dining room is cozy and relaxing. cuts up to the renter pairs that provide a smiling and efficient service. good. many guests were Portuguese. asa starter I had the “Salade Gallion” mixed salad with cheese and speck: good and generous. the main course was really a highlight: I chose the gallion style of cadjau, boiled with wobble and olives and served with souffléed kartoffeln. it was excellent, but the part was gargantuesque! I could have just skipped the starter. as dessert, I pampered with a tasteful mango and earthly mousse. prices remain on standard Swiss standard. Given the very good food and service, this is an excellent value for money."
