"We had just finished shopping and were looking for a nice place for lunch, but at just after 13:15 we had left it a bit late. Most of the restaurants were full or not taking any more orders so we were resigned to eating in a fast food place :-( However, we made one last try and we struck gold.La Petite Adresse doesn't look much from the outside but the service and food are great! The owner / cook is very a friendly chatty sort and he told us the menu was limited as he buys all his ingredients fresh, he doesn't have a freezer. My wife took the morbiflette and I took the daily special (filet mignon with mushroom sauce). For starters, you get a whole french loaf, a huge bowl of green salad with a deliscious home-made sauce and a bowl of equally deliscious home-made paté. Eat as much as you want, he will bring more! I took a half of the house wine and we finished off with coffees, one creme brulé and I took a calvados. Total price an unbelievably good value of €45.Can't wait to go back!"

The place is like a typical bistro out of the 50`s with the accompanying music in the background from this era. The meals are simple but good from the region. The patron is an typical french original with lots of dry humour.

The owner of the tavern is a nice and smiling guy. he set a nice table outside and he suggested us some nice local dishes. taste was good, service was perfect, and price quite reasonable. the location in this walking road was very romantic

It's a small, potentially cozy (provided that you're not next to the loo, as we were) place where you can have dinner France-Comté style. I would have given 4/5 if the waiter/owner(?) Pierrot had been a bit less grumpy and awkward.I had country paté for starters and Franch-Comté tortellini @18€, and it was good and plentiful. We had a decent bottle of Gaillac for 15€.

A lovely little restaurant in Besancon. We had the set menu of terrine, and it was HUGE! Very delicious but a lot of food! Then for mains we had a lasagne (also incredibly delicious but super large), and my husband had the pork which was very tasty. A little creme brûlée for dessert topped off a very nice meal, and the Macon red wine was a good choice! Reccmond this restaurant for a nice meal. Lovely man and his daughter served us, they were very friendly and welcoming.

We have just returned to our hotel after an absolutely wonderful serendipitous evening! We had no idea where to eat and happened upon La Petite Adresse. The simple menu reflected the quality of the food...simply delicious! With the freshest of foods cooked with simple naturalness and complimented with delicious wines we had a delightful time. Pierre, the patron, was very welcoming and was an obvious hot with the regulars! Indeed, the interaction between us newcomers, the regulars and Pierre...we had an evening to remember!

La Petite Adresse can not be more French and reminded me how restaurants used to be in the country side. It is small, very French. The owner will welcome you, and if you arent French you may think you aren't welcome.. but you are. The menu is simple! An entry (usually terrine) and an half local dishes to choose from. The terrine comes in a big ball and you eat as much as you want. A full bread will be given and cut it yourself. Everything was very nice and well served. A fruit dish is offered. All this with a great music. The price overall is very cheap. Definitely the detour.

Four of us were looking for a restaurant early one Saturday evening when we found this small, deserted place. The menu was small but interesting so we went in and asked the maitre, Pierre, for a table. He checked his list and said he had just had a cancellation so could accommodate us. The ambience was great, the food was great, the service was great, and the wines were great. To top it all the prices were low for the quality on offer! The small unpretentious dining troom quickly filled up with locals who obviously knew where to come for a truly memorable occasion, All in all we could not fault this restaurant. .

We were wandering around Besançon looking to find a restaurant and chanced to find this place. It was early evening and was empty, so we were surprised when the patron said he had to check if he had a table. We soon found out why as the place filled up - we had been lucky that he had a cancellation. The food was simple but excellent. My wife and 2 friends had the pâté starter which was more than generous and thoroughly enjoyed. I am a vegetarian and was provided with an equally generous and tasty egg and tomato starter. The main courses were similarly appreciated. There was also great banter with the patron and other diners. All in all, a most enjoyable evening!

We had a fabulous meal here.We stopped outside and looked at the 2 course set menu for that evening, I wasn't sure what one of the courses was (mefflouette?), and the waitress explained it was a cheese and potato dish with sausage. She brought us a piece of the delicate blue cheese to try.We ordered two set meals, the first course consisted of a huge terrine, a baguette and green salad. You just took as much as you wanted - it was hard to stop it was so delicious. The main course was superb (wish I could remember it's name, to look up a recipe!).We weren't expecting a desert, but a lovely little crème brûlée arrived.A fabulous, typically french meal, with the music of Georges Brassens as well...
