"Husband and wife business, with old school charm. Best food we’ve had in Catania so far, the restaurant has been owned and managed from the same family since the 50s. The food is very very good and I’m surprised there wasn’t a queue outside! We had delicious spaghetti with lemon sauce, incredible “sarde in beccafico” and the best caponata we’ve ever had. Don’t forget to stop here if you come to Catania! Very reasonable prices Service: Dine in"

Places that no longer exist, from times gone by, easy-going with a simple menu. The lady who served us was very kind and nice. Good price quality. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I am really surprised how many good references this trattoria received. The couple of owners were not friendly at all (even annoyed i would dare to say) and they don't speak English. Wi-fi didn't work. Food was a bit better than service but still i felt unwelcomed there. Do not recommended.

The restaurant that remains in your heart! We are a Tuscan couple who found ourselves in Catania for work until a couple of years ago.... This restaurant was recommended to us and we have never left! A magical place, the owners are very kind, friendly, nice and make, among other delicacies, Sarde al Beccafico which remain indelible in the memory. We will be back!!!!
