La trompette is a superb establishment that never disappoints in any way. Over nearly two decades we have always had a fantastic experience that keeps us coming back.

Fabulous place for food.Probably the best you can find west of central London.I recommend the three course set Sunday lunch for Michelin star food in London at this price is unbeatable! The wine will set you back alot more!Afterwards visit Chiswick Park and walk off your lunch. Wonderful! Ver carta

As usual the food and service was great. I’m vegetarian and love the truffle linguini, the amazing selection of wine, and of course the cheese board. I am a little paranoid about the current risks and discretely asked for a table away from others. They put me in the room next door, about 5m away from everyone else. Great friendly service as usual.

We simply cannot fault the whole dining experience. We were here for our anniversary meal and from the moment we walked through the door to when we left the entire experience was perfect. The meal was delicious, the wines lovely and the service impeccable. I love my cheese too and they have a cheese trolley ! So rarely see that anymore... Couldn't recommend enough

Very rarely do you see even a five star restaurant that wants to take your coat for you, pull out your chair for you to sit down and have the barman over to personally recommend a wine with the food you have ordered based on your preference. Food was amazing, great experience. Only downside I suppose is that the food is so rich! If you have courses you will need to walk it off! Ver carta

There's nothing that Le Trompette can be held to account over, the furnishings are luxurious, the location is just off the beaten track, the staff are always friendly and courteous, and then there's the food.The food is incredible. It's not only reasonably priced for a three-course meal (expect to pay around per head for the food not including wine) but it's also exceptional and everything that you come to expect from fine dining at a very high level.To accompany the food is also a wine list to die for (though it's worth keep an eye on the prices here to spare you from ordering something eye-watering).Just pick up the phone and book already. There isn't a single reason not to.

La Trompette is a high end French restaurant for the numerous expats that are leaving in West London but try to stay away from South Kensington. Though we were the only French couple in the restaurant the night we went there for a try.The menue is great. It has a great diversity of nice dishes all with a little twist that sets the food aside of the random French restaurant. I opted for the home made ham terrine which was served with potatoe pancake and quail egg à la bénédicte. Delicious. Visited La Trompette as part of a no corkage BYO wine deal from my wine merchant. Took the allowed bottle each one champagne and one red Bordeaux and settled in for lunch. We started with a **** Mary and a couple of oysters; Dorset rock oysters with tamarillo hot sauce, celery and lime, which were absolutely delicious. We both opted for the starter of Foie gras and chicken liver parfait, Muscat jelly, toasted pistachios and brioche, which was light and creamy, with a generous slice of brioche. The pistachios added texture and the muscat jelly a decadent sweetness. The champagne was an excellent accompaniment.
