"We came to this restaurant as some friends recommended it. This place is in an industrial neighborhood and isn't overly easy to find. As the weather was uncertain we opted to eat inside, and this was a very pleasant experience -modern setting, spacious, soft music, nice restful decoration and plants, overall quite relaxing. As for the food, we were bold enough to try the tuna steak Rossini, exceptional. Cooked to perfection, this was a treat for my rather experienced tastebuds! My wife had the Tartare de Loup de mer, which met her entire approbation... Meaning I didn't get a chance to sample any of it...Our children has a choice of menus fully adequate versus their culinary reluctances, which made them very happy.Our waitress had only just started a week before, she was efficient, pleasant, attentive.All in all, we'll definitely be going back!"

Everything said in the title. This is not a good representation of good Swiss service. The service is slow, the waitresses are not nice, it's VERY expensive ! I'm writing this review waiting for the waitress to take my order. It's been 15 mins !

This restaurant is situated in the industrial estate next to a sports centre so the location is not wonderful. However, there is a shaded terrace and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was rapid and the staff were efficient. We visited at lunch time so there was a choice of three dishes of the day as well as the week's suggestions and an extensive menu. Upon sitting down we were served with a small glass of cold vegetable soup, which was pleasant. The food was good and well-presented. We both had a "mer et terre" salad (shrimps, smoked salmon and chicken) which we enjoyed. The prices are correct considering the quality.

Very nice frame located in the industrial area of Mont-sur-Lausanne. We were able to enjoy the terrace with a lounge party also. The welcome is friendly and warm. Of appetizers and olives are afférés with aperitifs. The map, which aims rather gastronomic evening is varied offering both pasta or risotto, as fish or meat. Some menu choices also.An appetizer, a creamy asparagus has been proposed, then the input, our choice fell on the marbled foie gras. Very nice piece, very well presented with raspberries, salad and toast. Excellent in summary. Then for my guest, it was the risotto with prawns fried with yellow curry for myself and the ravioli with ricotta and lemon. Very good. A report, also...

"I ordered catering services from Man'Ouchy for my thesis defense and I was incredibly happy with it. The team prepared a lovely selection of mezzés (falafel, spinach pie, rkakat feta, and kebbé accompanied by plenty of lebanese bread, taboulé, and dips (hummus and eggplant caviar . Many of my guests came up to me and told me how much they loved the food. I fully agree with them. I would definitely order again!"

"Great service even if sometimes the waiters forgot us a little. The manager is great and the restaurant has changed a lot and is still evolving. The food is good, special mention for the desserts and the Sichuan-style eggplants. The dishes are very good, unfortunately it is not written in the menu whether the dishes are spicy or not. A few small areas for improvement but it's a great place, the atmosphere is great, the toilets are clean. I will go back without hesitation!"

"Im Holy Cow gibt es sehr einfachen Service und einfache Einrichtung, aber es ist sauber und ein tolles Konzept. Bestellung an der Kasse und innerhalb weniger Minuten hat mein seinen Burger und super leckere Pommes am Tisch. Sitzmöglichkeiten auch im Aussenbereich, wobei man direkt an einer (wenig befahrenen) Straße sitzt. Burger groß mit toller Auswahl. Die Pommes waren wirklich sehr lecker!"

"Au Charbon is family managed restaurant, set in a pleasant and quiet part of Lausanne, easily reached on the bus, if like me, you are touring. The restaurant is ‘cosy’ and the owners have maximised the number of seats available, which sounds like me...spinning a cramped venue but it actually works out okay. We had sufficient room to relax and eat without imposing on our neighbouring tables, so the efficient spacing added to the atmosphere and the wine waiter added character. The restaurant has a traditional pizzeria menu with no surprises with the choice of pizza, steaks etc. All our choices were well presented, cooked exactly to request and delicious. Portion sizes were just right too On the down side, the table service was very slow, it took around an hour for the first course and one dish was wrong when it eventually arrived but we put that down to being busy. The lady serving was also a bit too presumptuous that the change from the bill would be her tip and she didn’t return the change, eventually coming back to confirm if this was so. In summary, I enjoyed my meal and time at Au Charbon, they seem to have earned their reputation from being consistent in serving nicely presented dishes that are cooked well. The higher end options are a bit on the pricey side if you are on holiday, especially when considering this is a pizzeria (a steak costing CHF). However most restaurants of this type in Lausanne are similarly priced and it is what it is."

"Dieses Restaurant ist in meiner Nachbarschaft und liegt an einer belebten Straße, ich nehme an, kann wirklich viele Kunden einladen. Es wird auch von asiatischen Leuten betrieben also wirklich kein Platz für einen Fehler. Ich habe mein Essen mitnehmen das Interieur war nicht einladend, aber ich würde es wirklich dort essen, trotz der Tatsache, dass das Hotel einfach war es kann einfach sein wie es ist aber das Essen war nicht essbar. Ich bestellte knuspriges Hühnchen, das es tut mir leid, nicht frisch. Sogar meine Kinder hatten das Gefühl, dass etwas nicht stimmte. Süßes und saures Hühnchen war auch nicht besser, das Fleisch wurde wahrscheinlich vor langer Zeit zubereitet. Vegetarische Frühlingsrollen durchschnittlich aber insgesamt bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Ich hätte nichts dagegen, mehr zu bezahlen (wir zahlten ca. CHF 60 für 3), wenn die Qualität gut und das Essen frisch war. Ich werde nicht mehr dorthin gehen, zu riskant."
