"Spotlessly clean hotel/restaurant which caters for large and small functions. The proximity to the local cemetry means that it is particulary handy for funeral catering.The decor is a well balanced mix of modern and traditional and the layout provides opportunity for intimate as well as social dining. A long well stocked bar with lots of comfortable bar stools provides an ideal setting for those preferring to have a drink.Staff were friendly and efficient and food served was of good quality. The meat is sourced from the owners butchers which is why meat features prominently on the menu.Located near the train station and alternative transport links, means that the restaurant is easily accesable plus a walk to the centre of town is possible. My friend and I had a lovely lunch here and I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to others."
