"We have been to the Seehaus twice recently for dinner with our young adult children and have enjoyed very good food served graciously in a relaxing open air atmosphere. A little off the beaten path of Pforzheim about 15 minutes outside the centre along a...beautiful winding road through the forest just past the Wildpark. It seems to cater to all types of families and events. I was especially pleased to have my meal adjusted to respond to my lactose intolerance which I hadn't specifically mentioned and yet the waiter understood from the questions I was asking and took the initiative to make a recommendation. The desserts were just as good as the mains and the wine list was also quite acceptable with an emphasis on local labels."

While the food here is excellent, the location is superb-- particularly for dining outside. This is a lovely location, and the food is never disappointing. We keep going back. Menus are not available in English.

Been there with a group of German and English business colleagues and everybody enjoyed the food, the scenery and the friendliness of the staff. It is not cheap, but local and seasonal produce and high quality is well worth it.
